Thanks, Rose- I guess I've been whining about the UPLJ a bit too much, huh!

I'm working with a recruiter on this, the same one who set me up with the ill-fated Cabela's Nebraska experience...but they're offering relocation, and that's a big plus to me. I want to see what they're offering, and why they're willing to go to so much trouble to bring me on board...

But I gotta talk to the guy first! Right now, I'm not comfortable calling them from work, and I've only gotten voice mail when I've called from home after their business hours. I don't have a cell phone, either, so there's no going outside.

Chances are they'll decide I'm not worth the trouble and move on, who knows.

It's definitely in the "nice place to visit" category, and there are some really vibrant areas. At the same time, it's bleeding young people despite fairly strenuous efforts to make the downtown area a draw. (New sports arena, growing club scene, arts venues, etc.)

We've seriously considered moving up there at a few points when jobs have come up that have interested my partner. (I don't know how I'd do in their current job market.)
