Same thing happened to me--I sent my email in on Sunday, but Tom didn't post it. Oh well--like you, I used my list for blog material.
Agree with a bunch of yours, ESPECIALLT The Shadow! Killraven, too, as well as Thriller--but like you say, only by the original team.

I noticed on the Comics Weblog Update thingy that you had posted yours about two minutes before I did! Guess great minds do think alike.
I think everybody misses that Shadow comic, except Kyle Baker...

I don't tend to think of Chase 1,000,000 as a part of the actual series, either. Besides the tangential-at-best connection to the main book, it just wasn't very good.
The book's cancellation caught me way off guard, though. I never heard anything about it going away; it just kind of stopped showing up. It was several months before I was completely certain of it's fate.

Perhaps the first comic I remember being cancelled while I was still enjoying it was a 1958 (I would've been eight at the time) Archie comic called Cosmo the Merry Martian. It was drawn by Bob White and cancelled in the midst of a cliff-hanger with issue number six. For months, I kept looking for issue seven on the racks, but it was not to be . . .

Bill D: I had read rumblings here and there, but as I understand it, it came down to Chase and Chronos, and for a reason I forget the former got the ax. I was enjoying the latter at the time, so that was OK, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Chase.
Bill S: Dude, you're old. No, seriously, I remember that book, but it was just a wee bit before my time so I never actually owned a copy...
Ragnell: Me, too. And it's not the same- Andreyko only understands her on a superficial level (unsurprising, since she's not the focus of the book) and he sure didn't do me (or her) any favors in the latest issue...

When JH Williams was at the Isotope in December he told me there's a bunch more CHASE that's gone unpublished... some of it already drawn!
