And Ambush Bug... Maybe you're right. This was relatively mild 'n toothless compared to the downright *nasty* last few issues of Son of Ambush Bug. But I really enjoyed the old Giffen and Flem comedic rhythm, if that makes any sense, even when the content was weak.
Re: Scalped- I think you should! It's ultimately up to you about the trades vs. singles, but I myself started with the first two trades, and have been buying since. I believe that a third trade is scheduled to come out soon, collecting (I think) 12-18.
Blue Beetle flat-out rocks. I wish I could understand why more people aren't reading it.
I was afraid BB might lose a step when Rogers departed, but if it has, I haven't noticed. It's one of the best books in my pull bag every month, period.
BB is a great read, but I admit that other than one or two singles, I've mostly stuck to reading it in the trades -- it's that much tastier in big chunks.
