I emailed John Paul Leon a few months ago about the Wintermen. He said he was halfway through inking the last issue after many, many rewrites, and hoped it would be out by late summer.

Rewrites, eh? My god!
Anyway, good to know, and hopefully it will finally see the light of day.
Thanks!

leaving it in an Andrea Dore-like deserted state?
I think you mean "Mary Celeste-like" instead. The Andrea Doria sank a day after being struck by another liner.

I believe this was supposed to be a 12 issue series, then cut to 8, and then to 6. I'd assume that cutting one's story in half would make the re-writing a bit time consuming.

Jim C.: You are correct, sir! I knew it was something like that. When I'm caught up in that questioning frenzy, how am I to be expected to fact-check?
Anonymous: True, but geez, it's been damn near two years! Stan Lee wrote the frigging Galactus trilogy and most of the Marvel line at the time in probably a week!

No kidding, I've been waiting for the final issue for what - 2 years now? And most of my comics are indy - here's DC doing it. I wish they'd just put it out already!
