I haven't seen No Country For Old Men yet, but the book has that same anti-climactic ending, where we learn about the Chigurh/Moss confrontation after the fact (which I found to be a pretty startling twist). It sounds like the Coens were just being loyal to the source material, for better or worse.


Gravatar I had read that they were being that faithful, but I hadn't read the book so I wasn't sure. Ordinarily, I encourage faithfulness to the source material whenever possible, so whaddaya do, I guess...
