I'll just stick with my black velvet paintings (Serenity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, etc.), thanks! It's so restful being a barbarian. :-D

For anybody who is thinking about going to see this movie, I think this article is worth reading first:

Brokeback Mountain sounds to me like Bridges of Madison County for gays. The straight version didn't interest me a bit (though people insisted it was a well made movie taken aside from its moral message) and this one doesn't interest me either.
It's not so much that I don't like sad movies or that I don't like movies about people who do bad things (some movies I like are about people who do very bad things) but rather that there are certain themes that just don't strike me as worth the time.
English Patient was another good example of this, in my opinion. Sure, it was a well shot movie, and it did show the tragic results of people sinning, but I just couldn't see that these people and their obsessions were worth 2.5hrs out of my life.
The Godfather is about a person who does terrible wrong, yet is certainly worth watching, because there's a nobility and sweep to the drama that something like English Patient lacks.
