"I've BEEN a protestant, I don't want to be a protestant again!"

I've never understood (or maybe I have, all too well) all these people who want to de-Catholicize the Church, Catholic schools, Catholic hospitals, Catholic social agencies, etc. If you don't like it, you're always free to go someplace that you will like.

And for all those claiming that they are trying to change the Church because of their love for her -- by changing and de-Catholicizing the Church, schools, etc., they will, by defintion, no longer be Catholic.

I don't know. Maybe we should all adopt their tactics. Maybe we should all join "Catholics for Free Choice" and, with our added numbers, demand that they reject abortion. Maybe we should all become Episcopalians and demand that they reunite with Rome.

Or maybe, we should just let them be, and they should let us be?
