I often wonder how many people I turned off from God by being an arrogant chit when I was in high school and college. :-b
But the flip side of things is that you've been a shining light for your parents, and if it's that bad to give scandal, surely God will treasure the way you've been a guiding light for so many.

Working in a parish, we hear many stories of people who come to us because someone at another church made them angry or upset and I'm sure people go elsewhere and say the same about us. Recently people have told us they won't come to church until we stop shaking hands and using the cup, due to H1N1. I will say that usually, when people leave, there are deeper reasons. But, to agree post and comments, staying out of God's way is sometimes the best we can do! peace
