Gravatar I don't think I scared her. I think the view from the minority is not as spectacular.
In any case, say what you want, agree or disagree with her and her positions, but she has made the sacrifice to serve our state and should be commended. I don't think people outside of politics appreciate the time and energy commitments of public service.

I will be huddling with my family and supporters around this news.

Thanks
Mark

Gravatar Mr. Nolte,

You didnt scare Sandy Greiner..Sandy has decided that it is time for her to go in a new direction and she is making her intentions known now, so that a suitable candidate has time to prepare to run.

Make no mistake, the GOP will have a candidate to win this race convincingly like we did in 06 and 04 before that.

And John.. the only reason why Miller was knocked off was due to his sticking his own foot into his mouth too many times.. I expect Ms. Schmitz to be a one term Senator.

Gravatar Well, boys and girls, can you say "hater?"

Mark is a great candidate and person, House District 89 should be so lucky as to have him.

I will also add that it was refreshing to see Senator Schmitz appear at a Johnson County legislative forum last month. Former Senator Miller never appeared, and it seems that most of our "fringe" representation could care less about their constituents in Johnson County.

Gravatar Run, Mark, Run!!!

I have never met a person who is better suited to public service, a true gentleman, and a credit to the 89th. He wouldn't "phone it in".

Gravatar Sen. Miller and Rep Greiner represented their consitutents well.. just because you didnt or dont like their political philosophy Ms. Fields doesn't mean they are any less of a valued public servant.

I don't "hate" anyone, Ms Fields..your candidates won..ours lost.. So guess what..we're reloading for 08 and 10.. Ms. Schmitz will be a one term Senator..you can rest assured of that.
