Love all the photos, but especially the lavender flower with the green leaf spearing across (what flower is that?) and the lantern.
We get a good balance of sunshine and rain in New Jersey, but too much humidity. If you can rule the weather in Belgium, maybe your regal cousin can rule away some of our humidity.

I wouldn't mind the rain... we've been in drought for the last 13 years and it's gonna take A LOT of rain to refill our aquafer. Since you're ruling, could you send some of your rain over to us?

I should move to Belgium and let you have my place in Kentucky! Here's it's just one disgusting sunny, hot day after another! Would love to have your rain, day or night. As always, though, your photography is wonderful--especially loved the lantern swinging against the dark sky.
Great fun! You can come here and fix the Irish weather, too - rain at night and dry in the day suits me fine!

You should have been here last night. We had one of those spectacular prairie thunder storms. Lightening streaking across the sky...thunder that seemed to go on and on. It shook the whole house. Mike took a couple of pictures off the wall. He thought they would be shook right off. We had tornado alerts. I guess one was spotted right outside of town. Glad that I only found out about that after the fact or I would not have enjoyed the storm as much as I did. Eeeeek!

Your pictures are lovely. Although I have been enjoying the pleasant weather here in Indiana, we could use some of that rain. I hope that the rest of your week is filled with sunshine.

And I apply to you for an assistant job as we are living in the same country ! In Waterloo we also had rain, sun, rain, sun etc. At least it is warm !! Not like in Libramont the first day ... 11° AND rain !
Maybe you fixed the weather? It is very similar here in Wisconsin. We can get snow in May. 
And the clouds always seem to clear away at night.
