Heh, that was one of the things I said to Hans about going to Scotland for vacation. We picked one of the few places to go this summer where it rains more probably than in Belgium!

Seems so much like Oregon. It has been such a change for me from Sunny So. California. On my first doctor's visit here, the Dr. asked if I was depressed becuase of the weather. No, I answered. He said, "Well, come see me in July if you get depressed, I'll give something for it." In JULY? I thought he was crazy.
It's rained every July 4th (our idependence day) since I've been here. This year is no exception. Last night we had a huge thunder storm and rain is predicted for tomorrow.
At least it's not cold anymore.

We don't normally get as much rain as we had this spring. Lots of spring rain brings up lots of undergrowth that dries out and makes lots of fires later in the year. Be grateful your rain is constant.

Ah yes, but for 10 years I lived in a desert where it rarely ever rained. I would have fancied a week in Belgium, even if all I did was sit at the window and stare out at the rain.

That pool looks soooo good. It is sweltering hot here again today. I am sitting with the fan on high, about a foot from my head. We may get thunder showers this evening. I hope so. It will cool things down.
