Double Extra Point

Gravatar Actually, Bonnie Bernstein made that announcement a year ago, when she was appearing semi-regularly on the studio shows mentioned. She hasn't, at least to my knowledge, appeared on any of those shows since last December and hasn't appeared on the four letter network since February, when a feature piece she did on former Yankees outfielder Bernie Williams that first aired last December was reaired. So, I don't know if Bernstein has been dropped altogether by the four letter network. If so, then I'm dropping them as a viewer. I'm hopeful she will resurface either back at CBS, or Fox, or even NFL Network soon.

Gravatar Oh, what I wouldn't give to see Craig James, Jesse Palmer, Brent Musburger, Bob Griese, Rece Davis, Mark May, and Lou Holtz put on a bus at the top of the Rocky Mountains with no brakes.

Have I said how much I detest much of the ESPN "talent" lately?

Gravatar kcsportscaster - thanks for the info. so it kind of sounds like she is wanting a little something more than looking pretty for the camera on the sidelines. i should have known better than to trust wiki as now that ive thought about it, i havent seen her anywhere on espn in a long, long time. ever since i've seen wikipedia begin to use us for referrences (jenna lee, lincoln east high school), i've been kind of getting a little more skeptical about everything i read.

matt - yeah, the talent has defnitely taken a turn for the worse on espn. i was going to put pictures of the coed reporters and had to quickly scrap that idea and head over to nbc.

Gravatar Actually, Bernstein's Wiki entry seems to be one of the most accurate ones out there. I monitor it frequently and correct any mistakes I have found on there.

FYI, the ESPN logo still appears on the home page of her website, and the address for ESPN still appears on the page letting her fans know where to send fan mail. So, I have no idea if she is reupping with the four letter network for studio work only or if she is leaving them, hopefully to resurface elsewhere very soon.

Gravatar kcsportscaster - apparently we aren't the only ones wondering about her whereabouts...

Gravatar LOL!!!! That clip was from an obscure made for premium cable sitcom called Z Rock. She did one episode as a favor to the producer of Jim Rome Is Burning, whose brother directed the episode. She explains this on the "diary" page of her website. Great read, too, where she also mentions that she has a great passion for music in addition to sports.

Gravatar Here's a link to the full 25 minute episode:
