You know, it's idiots like you that give sports a bad name. Football is a GAME you moron. What Conradt did could negatively impact their lives and careers. Slander is illegal, as is libel. I hope that Conradt is taken to the cleaners. BTW. Your source code on your website is unprotected. I could very easily copy all of your webpage, create some defaming and damning lies on the page, and republish it on the net. You see, I am a geek and a hacker from way back, and make my living in IT. You know why I don't???? It's AGAINST the law. Conradt could do some federal time for this. Is hatred of a sports team so damned important that you are willing to risk reputation, income, and freedom for it. GET A LIFE.
Jeffie, this Choder guy is all over the law. Sounds like slander and libel are illegal now. WTF?? I know, just when you thought you could write funny shit on a football blog site to amuse readers........looks another Beauty and Geek reject, but not to worry, he's got the "copy" and "paste" functions down on Microsoft (that's a software company for all you non-techies). Is it control-V or control-C??? I always mess that up.......any help would be appreciated. Notice the ALL CAPS on "GET A LIFE".........powerful stuff.........

This site is about having fun with college football related topics and apparently fun walked out your front door awhile ago. Just because you sit behind a computer for a living doesn't give you the right to threaten me that you are going to copy my webpage. Go ahead and republish it. You'd be doing me a favor. I might even be able to get a law suit out of it.

But Orson made a good point in his link on EDSBS...Conradt would've been wise to include some jab (like "the two players made the coke deal after a recent BCS victory") to slam the door on this "LIBEL...SLANDER...SUE, SUE, SUE!" nonsense. Hey, I had to take Communications Law--it was taught by the dean of the college and it sucked--but in doing so, I realize that by the letter of the law, they're probably right...but come on people, these kids are gonna end up getting more mileage out of being do-gooders in the long run over this, so where's the great damage to their personal reputation there? And this Kevin Jones with his deep pockets...whoa, stand back! What a douche.
You're giving the guy way too much credit here.
He didn't hack into the Oklahoman website and post a story on it. All he did was take a "template" that resembles the Oklahoman, type up a fake story, then either screenshot a copy of it or posted it at another url and passed it off as the real site.
Any Husker fan that goes to lengths like this I'm going to glorify. I wish I could get the states of Texas and Oklahoma to talk about me like they are talking about him. He is now an internet legend. I'm giving this guy all the credit I can simply for trying. I hope I can get him to write here actually.
