I hear you Jeff on the issue of assistant coaches. Overall I am pleased with most of the moves, especially the retention of Watson and Gilmore. Absolute perfect thing to do, especially with Joey Ganz coming back and his familiarity with the WCO.
What I don't like is, like you said, the lack of new blood. Barney Cotton? Well you know how I feel about him. Marvin Sanders? One good year, what he's really like remains to be seen. Carl Pelini? Blatant nepotism is never a good thing (see: Bowden, Jeff).
Time will tell. I don't want to seem overly negative as I love the changes that Bo will make. I have a feeling that fans will be more patient with Bo than Callahan.

Barney Cotton coaching an offensive line for a spread offense or WCO?? Does not seem to be a good fit, besides his o lines historical have not been that impressive.
