I always thought it was a pretty good trick that John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The Jefferson-Adams business always has impressed me as one of those "too-strange-for-fiction" stories, especially since they died as fast friends after having lived most of their public lives as enemies.

Still, managing to get BORN on a certain day is still more of an achievement than managing to DIE on a certain day....
