Have something to say?

Gravatar I gets not lurve. I shows up. I sings. I talks like a pirate, but still. I gets no lurve. Mebbe I shouldna dropped the F-bomb back there - but then, no one told me this was supposed to be a G-rated event.

Tee heeeeeeeee...

Hop!

Gravatar I popped in and out, depending on how loud my mother was calling to me. Wish I could have had the freedom to really get into it. At least I tried.

Gravatar Arrrrr. I semiblog at redhead.blogware.com, though it is for the most part craptacular as I am beyond overwhelmed by my new, non-Web-2.0 career. I wish I could have been on the call longer! And heard Elaine's voice, and Frank's, etc., it has been a long time!

Gravatar Frank - your Aria was well inspiring what can I say

Jeneane - that's not fear that's ummmmm 6:30 am and a good jolt of cofeee - perfecrtly normal for me at that ungodly hour LOL

I wish I had been able to participate longer but alas work called.

Gravatar I lurked for a while around 12:00 - but got really busy as soon as I connected and had you guys sitting on mute while I scrambled around. My contribution = 0

Gravatar Doh, my online scheduling app of choice (Schedulr) said it was PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME! Oops.

I ate well, though. Next year, huh?

Gravatar I popped in for about 10 minutes--just before the end. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of some business and couldn't give it the proper attention. I just wanted to get in before it ended to see if it was actually working--and I wanted to get the hell out before Paynter began warbling.

From the background it sounded like people were having some sort of religious experience. Hmmm. Anyway, I have a built-in suspicion of free stuff. Is this service truly reliable?

Gravatar It was FUN! And if I had started earlier, it could have been monday/tuesday!

Pass a croissant, please, matey!

Gravatar Such a blast! I blogged it, linked to the text and an audio recording (quicktime movie, have no idea what the audio compression is) that I made of ladle rat rotten hut.

(Oh, and Jeneane, it's Anguish Languish. If you call it "language" then you're talking "Anguish" with an English accent! Or an american english accent)

Gravatar Here be croissants for Pirate Nancy!

What a great time, me hearties!

And now, for t'sharin of me buried treasure(aka linkspam)

Gravatar J.

I poped in around 9:30 for 10 minutes (lurking on an ear piece and muted while driving) at 11:00 I called from my cube at work and hung in for 90 minutes.

RB said he had to give up "white collar crime" and I said it was becuase of the starch (chuckles).

I returned at 12:50 to hear Frank's song and stayed until he surfaced.

My favorite version of that Oscar Mayer song is by David Sideris who can do a spot on "Billie Holiday" impersonation. It's hilarious... a "This American Life" episode had it from around 2002. Something you must hear, dahling.

Frank's version was great too.

Good times.

I enjoyed hearing about nancy's work for Global Non-profits. Tres cool.

And hearing Chris Locke in person was priceless. He's a hero... talk about coloring outside the lines... and yet gracious and charming. You have the best friends.

Gravatar Well done, Jeneane. I had a great time on both my visits today and it was terrific to hear the voices of people whose words I'd only read before.

Gravatar I had a blast, Jeneane. Thanks for setting this up. Don't think I'll ever forget Susan's little story. Just wish I could have been around for a bit more of the middle and not just the beginning and the end. Work calls....

Gravatar I enjoyed it very much although I didn't talk - just listened. And wrote more on the live-chat room. That was fun. I cannot believe I missed the final song!

Gravatar I only managed the last 15 minutes but it was fun...less work meetings required the next time. Great idea

Gravatar arrrrrrrrr.. pass me the grog..ma head da burnin.. !!

Gravatar A ton of fun. Thanks for doing this Jeneane

Gravatar Yahhrgh, me buckette. Ahr kin only wish Ahr'ta bin thar for the pahratic moments.

I have a friend in Oakland who confesses to trying to lurk but being scared away by requests that she identify herself.

We can call her Anon Eponymouse.

Gravatar Thanks, had lots of fun on the call.

Gravatar Thanks, Ralph. 'Twas great fun.

And Sue, I'm sorry to have missed you. Based on the chat log, it looks as tho you left a little before I showed up.

Jeneane, I think this is a great conference idea. It's the Next! Best! Thing! I can't (for the life of me) see why it didn't make techmeme. They just don't understand the power behind phone conference technology. Spontaneous world wide voice to voice, open house-style gatherings. It's the wave of the future, man. The wave of the future!

Gravatar Did I mention it was an AJAX-powered call?

HYPERTECH I'd say. At what other conference can you fold laundry and prune deck flowers while attending?
