Gravatar Sounds like a candidate for early potty training. - just kidding

Gravatar I'm glad you tipped well.

Gravatar I'm glad you're using cloth! I try to use it as much as possible, too. I used cloth with Nathan almost exclusively and it was a definite improvement over disposables. With Meg, we haven't been as diligent. (Might also be a function of the fact that my laundry room is REALLY far away from her bedroom!)

I have Motherease One-Size diapers and I love them. I have to use a separate cover, but the Motherease Airflows are light and not too bulky. I don't use the disposable liners, either, but instead have strips of fleece that I insert in the diaper. Poop literally just falls off of fleece, so no need for rinsing or swishing in the toilet.

Do you dry-pail, too? Way easier.

As far as I see it, the only "problem" with cloth these days is that it's harder to fit clothes over bigger diapers.

Reading this post has inspired me to get back into the cloth thing with Meg this weekend!

Gravatar As an expectant first-time mother, this type of post is quite helpful--thank you. On another, not unrelated note, I am delighted to step into a world where brandnames like "Bumgenius" can be thrown around in adult conversation, and products designed to soak up urine are called "Thirsties"
