I'm so glad you're back (wherever you are?!). Thanks for the lovely pattern too. I dyed some sock yarn a couple of weeks ago and haven't been found the pattern that called its name. This is it! I knew it as soon as I saw your beautiful socks.
I hope your trip was fun.

That is a lovely pattern, THNX! I hope you're here in Seattle with the rest of us crazy, rain loving knitters and spinners. It's been a typical spring so far, so no surprises there. The only question is "Where are we knitting this week?" There are lots of groups and shops. The LYS Tour is the 18th and 19th ~ check in at the Village Yarn and Tea website for details. It will give you a great start on the Seattle (area) knit scene. Welcome!

Soooooo pretty. I think I see these in my near future. I even know what yarn to use just by looking at your pictures. The stitch pattern is so pretty, yet the chart seems easy to memorize. Thanks for sharing! Glad to see you're back!

I am going to give these a try sometime soon - especially as you wrote out the instructions, rather than just using a graph. I've tried to follow graphs, but I swear they make my eyes cross. And you use the standard sock pattern I use - cast on 60 and divide by two needles - I (being an accounting OCD type to begin with) actually transfered my standard sock pattern onto a spreadsheet, which my fellow sock knitters find quite funny but I find quite useful, especially as this way my socks ALWAYS MATCH EXACTLY. Which is important!
Thanks!
