oooh ... look at those pretty sockens! so, they're slipped stitches .... i like that idea better than slipping and passing over and other acrobatics.
the sweater is going to be beautiful! i too have one (some) that has lingered too long on the needles. i'll get back to 'em soon.
ps. i think i spotted that lovely clapotis in one of your pictures .... your's is the only one i've ever seen that i liked! seriously.
