What you are doing in support of the troops is awesome enough. But helping the families left behind? That is above and beyond the call of duty. If there were a medal for this, I would nominate you. As a former Navy officer, I can attest first hand that nothing improves morale better than knowing your family is being looked after when you can't.

Hey, great blog! Made me laugh quite a bit. 
Forgive me if I ask, but I don't quite understand something. On this post, you claim that you don't like killing.
But since you support a war and the troops in it it is clear that killing is o.k. with you as long as you don't do it, right?
But then isn't supporting others' doing the actual killing making you an accessory to the killing?
Or is this the kind of war where the dead don't count because they are somewhere far away and you don't see them?
Or is it o.k. to kill in this case because the Iraq war is only killing terrorists and bad people exclusively?
Would you care to explain?
