Will, this is simple: we don't think there's a grand conspiracy against the Bush administration. Conspiracy theorists would be claiming precisely that.
Instead, we believe that there were a few people (like Plame) who didn't want to see the Bush administration succeed, and took steps to prevent it. Unless they were coordinated (which no one alleges), it's not a conspiracy—it's just a whole bunch of criminals.
Don't know why this should be a "conspiracy theory."
The trail of documented lies by Wilson stretches beyond the horizon, and the CIA has long been known to contain a rather large amount of institutionalized cowards.
Frankly, the egg is all over the CIA's face regarging 911 and pre-war intel and they are as political as any other group. They would prefer not to be the responsible party and therefore protect their funding stream.
As for Will, he should really try to actually contribute something before accusing others of not doing so.

I'd say we need more CIA accountability. But frnkly I don;t want to and no one should really "know" all that they do. It would defeat the purpose.
