I dont see how using the term "Holiday" is an attempt to abolish Christmas, as you assert. Whats the big deal? Commercial entities like Fox are just trying to appeal to their entire demographic, and are using generic terms...so what? Do people really need to have their beliefs reaffirmed by their favorite TV station? It seems like this is a little trivial, in the big picture. I doubt that the Christian God is really very concerned with what word choice Fox executives decide to use for the holiday...er Christmas season.
