that was already eluded to on our local news station but my question is is how and why should these trained men believe that he was mentally ill? They risk the lives of all those passengers or they go with their gut and do what they think is right for the masses. Oh, that's right, they're the terrorists.
The local news here is pretty much on the whole saying that the air marshall did the right thing.
Though Katie Couric this morning was spinning it the other way, saying why didn't they shoot to wound. The look on her face was priceless when tha tair marshall guy said: The yare trained to shoot to kill, if they didn;t and he had had a bomb, we'd be talking about the 300 people dead, rather than the one." Or something along that line.
I'd have shot him dead to get the cherry-flavored condoms and blow-up doll, too...
