Great piece. In a post I will have soon, one of my wishes for Christmas is for the Japanese to apolgize again for the attrocities against allies and civilians in WWII. We better put out the call for another apology soon since its taken over 60 years for the Japs to say they did anything wrong. Alos, love the site and I have you linked to mine. I went to the Arizona memorial years ago, and I'll never forget the haunting feeling of loss I felt.

I felt awful on Wednesday. I went until 2 pm before I realized that it was December 7. I was filling out some paperwork, and I looked at my watch to put down the date, and I just stopped and sat there quietly for a few minutes. I figure a moment of silence is the least I can offer to all those men who gave their lives 64 years ago.

We must never forget. And we've already let it happen again—but no more.
