They'd be better off with Matt Leinart, since Alex Smith turned out to be such an unwise decision. You gotta be able to throw the ball before you can run it.
Hook 'em Horns!
You're not a Chargers' fan living in San Diego? Don't ya' wish Ron Burgandy was really on television there?

I love the Chargers, and they are so freakin' awesome to watch right now, except when a severe case of "Marty ball" comes over the team.
I was born in Nor. Cal, and my dad taught me the ways of a Niner fan, and it was never hard, you know, 5 Superbowls and all.Joe,Jerry,Dwight,Steve,Tom,John T., I could go on and on, nothing like it since. But, Ironically, as a child I liked the Chargers because they had "cute" uniforms.
The Niner/Charger Superbowl was tough, I think I was the only person in San Diego wearing Red and Gold. Needless to say, I bought my own drinks that night. But it was really fun. I snapped a picture of Seifert's face as we won, just to capture that elusive smile.
Niner's first,(painful as that may be right now, I am not a bandwagon fan), Chargers 2nd. Hate the Raiders and Greenbay.
Ron is a stud. I think I may have pee'd a little when I watched that movie the first time it was so funny. The scene with the jazz flute... It reminded me of this one time at band camp......

Yep, growing up in San Fran during the glory years must've been cool.
I, however, grew up in Wisconsin, so I'm a Green Bay fan. I know, just one more thing for us to disagree on. Now that I'm in Arkansas, there's only one football team, and that's the Razorbacks. (And they've been suckin'.) The Packers and 49ers have had some great playoff battles in the past decade or so. I can understand why you hate Green Bay. I hate Terrel Owens for that catch he made as time expired in 1999. (Even though Jerry Rice should've been flagged on the previous play, turning the ball back over to the Packers.)
But as a 49ers fan, wouldn't you rather see Leinart go there than Bush?
At any rate, I've only been through San Diego on my from Dana Point to Tijuana. I've thought it'd be a cool place since I was a little one watching Three's Company.
Skyrockets in flight .. . .
Have a good night ...

Spoken like a true bitter Packer fan.
How about all the times the Packers paid off Jerry Markbright to give them all the good calls. You know it's true.
No, I'd like Reggie.

Dear old Bush. I do like the guy. He's got chutzpah, as my Jewish friends would say. He picks a fight, and he sticks to it. He has beliefs, and he stands by them. He is strong in the face of daily verbal assaults from the left.
he also takes from the poor and most vulnerable and gives to the richest and most priviledged. how's that for moral?

Really? Not quite right my dear Kyle, learn educate, put down the Kool-Aid, or Mr. Pib. Read:
In a 2004 paper presented to the American Statistical Association, IRS economists Michael Strudler and Tom Petska calculated percentiles data that included both income taxes and Social Security taxes. In 1999, the top 1 percent paid 23.3 percent of combined payroll and income taxes, the top 10 percent paid 52.2 percent, and the top 20 percent paid 68.2 percent.

To Will:
My condolences. I am a rare breed that actually likes the Vikes and the Pack. It has been painful to watch Favre this year, especially against the Bears. I think he'll be back if the Packers can deepen their roster.
Thanks for Sharper though. He's fabulous. Integral to our 6-game winning streak.
Smith is a bust in SF. Will's right. Lienart would be a better choice. Maybe they could get Mooch back now too.
The Chargers have been my favorite AFC team to watch these days. I was conflicted when they beat Indy though. Happy for the Bolts but pissed that I have to continue putting up with the 72 Dolphins. Arrogant bastards.
For the record, my MVP pick is narrowed to Carson Palmer and LT, but leaning towards Palmer.
Coach of the year has to be Lovie Smith. No question. The Bears defense is friggin' fierce. If they continue, the Bears will be in the Superbowl. They can beat Seattle, the Giants, enybody the NFC has to offer.
Wouldn't that be a great match-up? The Bears and the Colts? Perfect opposites...almost.

MVP: The Chargers as a whole, but, LT, he's not only a real player, who loves the game, he's a teddy bear off the field to. To me he embodies the spirit of the game like none have in a long time. He stayed here through the lean years, and vows to stay till the end. LOVE HIM!!!!!
We've got McCardell, Parker, "Light's Out" Merrimen, Gates, Brees..... I'm in love with this team.
Hubby thinks Seattle will slaughter Indy this weekend, Comments? I took Indy for the pool. The Detroit game was hard to pick too. Love the Mooch man. He didn;t do to bad with a load of crap team like Detroit.
