The Tax Policy Center, run jointly by the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute, has concluded that the bottom 80 percent of households would receive 15.8 percent of the House tax cuts' benefit. The top 20 percent would receive 84.2 percent of the benefit. Households earning more than $1 million a year would get 40 percent of the tax cuts, or an average reduction of nearly $51,000.
The tax measure's cost would more than offset the savings in a tough budget approved by the House last month, which would trim federal spending by $50 billion over five years by imposing new fees on Medicaid recipients, squeezing student lenders, cutting federal child-support enforcement and paring the food stamp rolls.

I think I like the Republican one better. To me there are really only two holidays in December, Christmas and Hannakuh. Anything else is fake or included to appease minorities, and really have no meaning.
so what you're saying is that you do not have an argument. bush is not a moral man because he takes from the rich and gives to the poor. you obviously think bush is moral. my excerpt from the post clearly demonstrates that these new cuts in medicare and education are taking from the poor and these tax cuts are clearly going to benefit the rich. your last comment went along the lines of the rich already pay enough taxes. is that justification to give them more tax cuts. i'd really like to see you knock on someone's door in the projects and say we were going to give you some foodstamps but there are people over in beverly hills are already paying way too much taxes. think about it! you're morally bankrupt. the republicans are a party infected by greed!

I'm going to wager something along the lines of: "The Free Market works best if you stimulate the economy by cutting taxes. Then you don’t NEED public assistance programs. Fewer taxes, less regulation, more freedom. More money for everybody. Nobody ever cheats the system"
10+ bonus points if the term 'Trickle Down Economics' is used. Note however, this usually refers to the phenomenon that occurs when pants pockets carrying a large amount of coined currency rip and spill onto the ground.
