check out this version of the ant and the grasshopper [not mine own]
The Ondt was a weltall fellow, raumybult and abelboobied, bynear saw altitudinous wee a schelling in kopfers. He was sair sair sullemn and chairmanlooking when he was not making spaces in his psyche, but, laus! when he wore making spaces on his ikey, he ware mouche mothst secred and muravyingly wisechairmanlooking.
Now whim the sillybilly of a Gracehoper had jingled through a jungle of love and debts and jangled through a jumble of life in doubts afterworse, wetting with the bimblebeaks, drikking with nautonects, bilking with durrydunglecks and horing after ladybirdies (ichnehmon diagelegenaitoikon) he fell joust as sieck as a sexton and tantto pooveroo quant a churchprince, and wheer the midges to wend hemsylph or vosch to sirch for grub for his corapusse or to find a hospes, alick, he wist gnit! Bruko dry! fuko spint! Sultamont osa bare! And volomundo osi videvide! Nichtsnichtsundnichts! Not one pickopeck of muscowmoney to bag a tittlebits of beebread! Iomio! Iomio! Crick's corbicule, which a plight!

This is a fun story, and entertaining. But hardly the truth. (BTW- I hate Democrates/liberals and Republicans/conservatives equally... in fact I would love to see someone outline the real differences between the parties).
But here are the major problems:
1. It purports that one political party is composed of hard-working, future-planning group and the other is full of lazy, irreponsible people. A stereotype that is obviously sometimes true, but hardly the rule.
2. Calling press conferences and shouting about unfairness is hardly a qualify restricted to liberals.
3. The story suggests that everyone IS equal and has an equal chance at success. This if far from reality, as a first year sociology course will show. Transcending social classes is something conservatives love to give examples of, even though the vast majority of Americans will never leave the class they are born into.
4. There IS discrimination and economic inequality. Get over it.
5. Once again, conservatives are successful because they work hard. Liberals are not as well off, because they are lazy. Liberals use drugs. Liberals are terrorists. Stereotypes sure work well, don't they? Good to know conservatives never use sensationalism in their efforts, right?
Now that I've pointed out the holes, I'll gladly acknowledge that yes, liberals tend to be whiny. And blaming others for your own problems (even if the blame is true) gives people a sense of false entitlement. And charging the government with the responsibility to take care of people (almost always) is a waste of time and taxpayer money.
And yes, there is an obvious conflict of interest with the press selling news and being objective. But this is not limited just to liberals.
/end rant
