I have yet to read one formerly mainstream media report that will call this a terrorist act. Every single one reports "a former student" or "UNC Grad" -- as if it was just another student and NOT a terrorist.
Heck, up until just today every single outlet also reported, "allegedly drove" into the crowd. The murderer admits he did it! He freely admits it over and over again! Yet he "allegedly" drove it.

Let me step in and actually give you the answers to some of the dumb questions you've been asking.
It wasn't front page news when you sat down to read the newspaper on March 8 because the news event in question actually happened on March 3.
It was front page news last Saturday in most markets, though it understandably wasn't in others because: A)nobody was killed and B)the information about him being a terrorist wasn't revealed until days later. Most papers reported Saturday that it was just a student because that's all the information that was available.
As far as them using the word "allegedly," that's a bureaucratic thing to keep newspapers/news outlets out of trouble when talking about crime. You see, in America, people are innocent until proven guilty, even if 250 people saw this crazy fucker do it with their own two eyes. You can't just go around saying somebody did something just because they are charged with that crime.

In fact, on Saturday, I was out and about. It was a nice day. But, I watch the news every night and read the newspaper front to back, and this was the first I'd heard of it. To me, that is keeping it on the downlow.

Um, didn't hear about, but then, don't read newspapers and only glance at MSN headline news. Yes, the guy was wrong. But, there are an awful lot of innocent, non-terroristic people being killed as I type, as revenge or payback. Jeeps aren't rented, planes and tanks are vehicles for the murders.
