Our friends invited us to stay in their house in Kaui this time, but we wanted to have some privacy.

We stayed in an area where we had a 100 degree ocean view from the 100 foot back deck of our own private home. There was a stream 20 feet from the bedroom, running through a forest of tropical hardwood trees. Oh, and from where we were, there was not one building in sight.

Yes, very touristy. Sip that chardonnay in your studio apartment, your triteness.
