This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

Gravatar I have a two word response to this misleading article-Britt Hume. Or another two words-Roger Ailes. Both of these guys openly criticize liberals and Democrats. Why is it OK for right wingers in the media to have political opinions, but when someone who is liberal dares express an opinion, the right wing cries "bias". This story is getting play in the right wing "echo chamber" as if it's some big scandal. It isn't. It's another attempt by the right wing to set up a "straw man" of liberal media bias that just doesn't exist.

Gravatar Brit Hume, has an opinion show, this guy is the producer of a news show. One that supposedly is unbiased.

Gravatar Sensationalism at its best. Is he attacking any of Bush's policies? No. Is he taking a stance on any of Bush's policies? No. Is he showing bias towards any of Bush's policies? No.

He's telling the truth. Bush used "Mixed messages" eleven times that day. Who gives a shit that this guy points it out as making him want to puke in a personal e-mail?

Rupert Murdoch built a whole network that leans entirely right.

Besides, this guy is the weekend producer for Good Morning America. Big deal. Maybe if he was criticizing some lame chef's stir-fry or whatever other corny shit they have on those morning shows on the weekends, it'd be a bigger deal. Top producer at ABC? Weekend shift, maybe.

What and where are "the other e-mails obtained by Drudge Report?"

It's funny how this is the huge headline across old sensationalist Drudge's web site.

At this point in such a fledgling presidency, a little more of that honesty could be helpful. It'd be different if he were saying something that was going to affect coverage.

Keep trying, Jenn and the rest of you righties. Face it, the media is not near as liberal as you'd like it to be.

Gravatar Pete, again, are you actually reading the entire post?

I said: "Just a funny little tidbit for ya'll."

I'm not taking it seriously, why are you? Lighten up dude.

Gravatar You have me all fired up and on edge.

I gotta quit coming here before my BP goes beserker.

Plus, the karma is getting nasty around here.

Gravatar "I gotta quit coming here... the karma is getting nasty." -Pete

Nail on the head. Well, maybe if you leave the karma will improve!

Gravatar The Holy Spirit's message today on the Amazing Miracles Everywhere! blog refers to Hillary Clinton, but could just as easily refer to the news media in the U.S.

Gravatar Trust me Pete, I am in no way worried about bankrupting my Karma Account. I've already gone through my Earl stage. I'm just fine.

Gravatar Hey, I like your blog. Keep up the good work!

Gravatar Thank goodness I finally came across a blog on BlogMad which tells the truth about liberals! They can dish it but can't take it. Definitely adding this to my blogroll.

Gravatar Glad to help. You're preaching to the choir with me.

Gravatar It is a throw away line. Not to be taken too seriously. It might not be absolute proof, but I'll bet it's not far from how this guy really feels about Bush.

That said, there is a definite bias. For proof, look at how guys like Pete respond anytime you bring it up. The first thing in their mind is Fox news. And they are probably correct to some degree. What they don't realize, is that the others lean to varying degrees to the left and by pointing out Fox, it kind of proves our point. Obvioulsly they think the others are more like how they think, or they wouldn't be so quick to accuse. Thanks Pete!

Gravatar Actually what I find interesting is that Fox OWNS the news. Their ratings put everyone else in the dust. By far.

If they are so biased, and so many people are leaning to the "other" side, why then, does Fox dominate as it does?

Gravatar True enough. Gallup just dropped CNN as a partner because of their basement ratings.

Gravatar Oh, the Communist Nitwit Network?

Yeah, read that story. Laughed out loud. Then drank a toast to their inevitable demise.

When Sean Hannity is sticking up for Larry King, and the CNN brass doesn't even have the balls to do so, you know the end is near.

Gravatar I read Adam and Pete's first comments. Adam I've never seen, but Pete I expected a bit more from you considering you are a frequent to this blog. You of all people should have had a decent argument considering most of the time you have probable cause or alleged proof. When did you stop reading posts in their entirety?

"great producer who is always fair"

That is what was said of him. Read it. Read it twice if need be, because neither of you understood WHY he was so embarrassed nor the point of this entry.

But whatever, I guess us right wingers are a bit over opinionated.

Gravatar He was just expressing his personal opinion, which he is allowed to have.

Having said that...

1. Since the e-mail was sent via a resource owned by ABCNews.com, it gives the impression that Green speaks for ABC News.

2. I guess we are to believe that his personal opinion somehow never influences ABC News coverage, reporting, etc.?

Gravatar Your right Jonathan, but your second point erases the first.

It's like a judge voting for their own team, only becuase it's his team. You sell your news as unbiased, and you clearly are biased. Not good.

Gravatar Left wing media - you are having a joke. Have you not seen Fox fascist news. Wanker
