You know, just as easily as you scraped together these ignorant quotes from the left, you could put together a nice collection from the right. And they can actually be attributed to someone of importance, as well.
This right/left shock-value bullshit is getting old. Both sides are ignorant. Both sides have positives. Both sides have negatives. Both sides break the law. Both sides make mistakes. Both sides lie. Both sides will do whatever it takes to get a vote. Both sides are immoral. Both sides are many things. It's like arguing that your favorite team is better than someone else's team.
Only our country and its citizens are at stake. We should be arguing to get a person in charge who is actually a reflection of the majority and has no motives other than to be a good, honest, compassionate and tough leader.
But just for fun (and to balance this out), here are some moronic and hateful quotes from the right that are actually attributed to somebody:

Do you know how many death threats I've gotten. Sometimes for the most mundane posts.
I wasn't being very tongue in cheek at the end when I said there may be a civl war. It's just getting so bad.

I can guarantee you, with absolutely 100 percent certainty, that it's not just "moonbat liberals" who get angry on amateur blogs. Get over it.
And I'm not sure what the whole civil war point is you're trying to make.
It's been bad in Iraq, if that's what you mean.

And you're just contributing to it with these extreme righty vs. lefty posts to try and show everyone how stupid you think liberals are. Same for O'Reilly, Hannity, Bush Co., etc ... that's the platform these days - party divisiveness, he said-she said bullshit.
It's all about ratings and poll numbers.

I may abhor lefties, I may wish for them to please, please follow through with their promise to move to another country if Bush won.
But, I would never post a comment on one of their blogs that says, I want to kill them, or they should be dead, or the President for that matter.

I'm with ya Jenn. When I'm on someone elses blog commenting, especially those with whom I disagree, I always try to be polite. It's their turf; their home, if you will. Even on blogs like yours where I'm sure we are in agreement on most things, I try to be respectful. I don't call your guests ( other Commenters) names, etc.
I've had a few death threats as well. One I posted and urged him to bring it on.
One last thing. I travel around the blogs a bit. No where have I seen a conservative threaten the blog owner. Perhaps it's coincidental, or the blogger deleted the comments, I don't know, but I don't see thiose kinds of comments.
By and large, outside of a reference to "moonbats" or some such innocuous name, I don't see conservative bloggers threatening the left.
