Tell me these people aren't brainwashed. Is there any other valid religion in the world in which you hear people chant "God is the greatest" over and over while committing an act of violence?
I'd like to force every one of the fanatical Muslims in these countries to spend a year studying all the other religions so they can actually get a perspective of how violent they really are. It might open enough eyes to stop the madness. Of course, the clerics over there make it a crime to study anything but Islam so such a plan would be hard to pull off.
The irony is that Christians killed a whole bunch of people over the centuries in the name of God (Crusades, Inquisition, etc) but they stopped such behavior by the 19th century for the most part. Do we have to wait as long for the Muslims to grow up too?

Jenn, you just need to embrace diversity. You also need to get in touch with your compassionate and caring side so that you can understand their rage. It is sick to hear them, and powerful (but heartbreaking)to hear what the passengers did to stop them. I can't see this movie though, too soon for me and I don't need it to remember.
What is so sad Kelly, is that many people do need to remember. They've gotten so caught up in their hate for the current administration, they forgot about what we felt on 9/12/01.
