This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

Gravatar So then our founding fathers should have kept quiet and let King George just keep on keepin' on?

Nixon should have been allowed to keep doing what he was doing?

You CAN support the troops but not support the war in Iraq. The war on terror and the war in Iraq are two different beasts entirely.

You want to know some real crazies that make Code Pink look like a harmless bunch of daytrippers:

PNAC
(Coincidence that Bush's staff is crammed FULL of these guys? I think not!)
Diebold
(Yeah right, it's a free country - coincidentally the owner is tight with the Bush family)
Halliburton
(First in line after "Mission Accomplished", first in line after Katrina. Shares up over 1000% since Dead Eye Dick took up his VP slot.

It's a wonderful world we live in.

Gravatar Oh, Matt, let go of your Halliburton hatred. They do many good things. Go to their site.

And the Diebold matter is just tired Liberal whining rhetoric. Let it go.

: )

Gravatar You are aware that the vast majority of people from other countries don't watch our supposedly left-wing media, right? They have their own media for that, and foreign media has little reason to politically spin any of our country's politics. The reason most other countries have negative views of America is based solely on our actions as a nation, actions which are by and large beliggerent, culturally insensitive and power-driven.

Gravatar No, Nick.

First, our media is seen around the world. Fox, CNN, MSNBC. Then you've got lovely little liberal spin machines like the BBC. Then add crazy ass left wing bloggers to the picture, who post things like Alex Jones's "Loose Change" as the truth, and you've got problems.

Gravatar Don't forget that many other countries need scapegoats. No one ever likes the big kid on the block.

They have every reason to spin it.

Gravatar True Bland. But when our own crackpot lefties feel the need to do so, it doesn't bode well for our future.

Gravatar Hi,
This is Andrew the Hybrid alien here and I just wanted to let you all know that I have written a book about the CIA and chemtrails and even a bit about mind control and the aliens.

On a sidenote I must say that all of this never ending Bush bashing has finally gotten under my skin and I just want to say that I for one support the president with all my heart and soul...Mr. Bush, I salute you sir;
http://www.redcoat.net/pics/tubgirl.jpg

And if any of yo liberals have a problem with that and want to come and kill me, I am in Ottawa right at the moment, no one will mind either...except God and since when do any of you care what he thinks?

Gravatar Amen to that Jenn. Great post!

Gravatar Mr. Murphy. I will not delete your post, because the sheer disgusting level of idiocy and sickness so present in those of you from the left that you portray with that "picture" surely helps my cause.

May I also add, Mr. Murphy sir, that you are a complete f*cktard.

Laura, thanks.

Gravatar Halliburton does good...lining their pockets and using their political leverage with Dead Eye Dick.

Diebold - California pledged to keep them out. I'm hoping that holds true, because they are as shady as the bayou in September.

If you think Scooter and co. are the only ones with dirty hands in the White House, think again.

Gravatar Don't worry Matt, I am aware that most politicians are crooked in their own way.

As for Halliburton, when you lay off the bandwagon you are currently on, go to their website, learn, read, educaue yuorself. : )

Funny how you think Diebold was responsible for anything. There were plenty of irregularities in the last election, and indeed most elections. But I find your one sideness baffling. You think the left didn't do anything untoward???? That's a joke.

Gravatar That darn Halliburton and their connections to the VP, eh? Have you ever noticed that there are not that many companies that actually handle the type of work they do? That might be why they get the kind of work they do.

Bill Clinton lined their evil pockets as well.

I guess we're talking serious conspiracy here, huh?

Gravatar Too bad Alex Jones didn't make Loose Change, you fucking idiot.

Just like a Republitard, wax idiotic with no idea of facts.

Gravatar No Urbane, of course there are no such thing as even loosely organized conspiracies...just ask Jack Abramoff and Duke Cunningham.

The thing is, these companies are getting preferential treatment and / or no-bid contracts (i.e. Halliburton).

Do you honestly think that's in the best interests of the taxpayers, no matter how much they get great tax write offs for doing charitable things (with your money)?

One sidedness my ass, I'm against all corruption. I'm focused on Republicans because there's a Republican president and a Republican owned Congress.

You know what? I could give two shits what Clinton did wrong. Let history deal with that and let's live in the NOW.

Re: Diebold - their leader stepped down in disgrace. This is the man who promised to "hand Ohio" to the current President.

Coming out and saying something like that should be reason enough for tar and feathering and exile.

Gravatar No, Dylan Avery did, Alex Jones narrated it. Oooohh, oooooohh, you got me wha, whah.... lame ass.

Gravatar The reason most other countries have negative views of America is based solely on our actions as a nation, actions which are by and large beliggerent, culturally insensitive and power-driven.

So then our actions are based on the same things EVERYONE ELSE in the world bases their on?

BTW, CNN is a worldwide network seen round the world.

VW

Gravatar One sidedness my ass, I'm against all corruption. I'm focused on Republicans because there's a Republican president and a Republican owned Congress.

You know what? I could give two shits what Clinton did wrong.

Wind from both ends...classic!

Gravatar Ahahahan't.

Gravatar You gotta admit Matt, he got you there.

Gravatar No, he selectively edited me and therefore took away the context.

Clinton is not in office, is he? Like I said (until said asshat deleted what I said) let history deal with Clinton and let's deal with the now.

Jack Abramoff going down is just the beginning. I hope he gets his salad tossed on a daily basis in prison.

Gravatar United we stood. Too true.

Gravatar Believe me Matt V., there are bigger fish to fry out there in the big bad world than Abramoff.

Where is your outrage that Osama isn't yet in prison, or better yet, sharing hell with his 70+ virgins?

Where is your outrage that innocents are being killed in Israel and elsewhere by militant islamic extremists????

Personally, I couldn't give a flying sh*t about Abramhoff, he's childs play compared to these others.

Gravatar I'm completely outraged that Osama hasn't been captured. Oh, did you read the quote from GWB saying that he wasn't concerned about capturing him? Where's the latest status report on our pursuit? What's being done to make sure he never takes another breath?

Anyone?

My outrage at his continuing to be alive has quintupled - and it grows every day. What makes me more angry is the lack of concern on the part of our government.

Sorry, but outside influences do not rot away the values of our country. Inside influences do. Abramoff, Rove, McClellan, Cheney, Bush and others - they're all dirty as fuck and the ones that haven't fallen need to go sooner rather than later.

Perhaps we should look first at why the greatest nation in the world still can't protect itself from a similar attack to this very day.

Perhaps the so called conservatives should explain why they're expanding government as fast as they possibly can. Perhapsy they should explain why the various intelligence agencies STILL can't communicate effectively amongst themselves to help ensure something like 9/11 doesn't happen again.

Perhaps you should wonder where your tax dollars are going.

You can't take care of anything if you can't take care of yourself first.

Gravatar Hey, I'm the first to say that we need less government, less spending. Bush is so not fiscally conservative it hurts.

Glad to see your outrage there Matt. You had me worried.

Bin Laden, while in no uncertain terms, is probably one of the most evil son's of b*tches to ever live, is only one man. Yes, it's important to get him, but he's got hundreds, thousands who are trying to hide him, and they are doing a good job.

Can't we protect ourselves??? We haven't had another attack. Do you really think they haven't tried????? Besides, with the bleeding heart lefties dissing the closing of the border, we're screwed anyway. Unless we close the border and crack down on all immigrants, we're just plain screwed.

Gravatar From reports from watchdog agencies (hired by our government to watch over themselves), we're no more ready or capable to handle a similar attack now than we were pre 9/11.

All the data was there to thwart this thing, the signal was lost in the noise - and things have not changed even with the addition of this new department of Homeland Security (which was a titanic waste, in my opinion).

And about the borders, they've been porous forever. If we can't stop mountains of cocaine from getting into this country, then we'd better have a good fucking plan to keep 150-180 pound human beings from getting in.

I'd say that we have more than our work cut out for us on that front.

Gravatar "but he's got hundreds, thousands who are trying to hide him, and they are doing a good job."

Well damn sombody at Al Jezeera knows where he is along with Al Zarkawi (please excuse the spelling)
But making Al jezeera a target is verbotten by PC

Again the answer is Carpet bombing the Afgan and Pakistan mountain area. If the people who live there wont give Osama up they are just as guilty as he is and deserve what they get.

Gravatar WMD.... It's not Like Osama runs down to the local Al Jazeera affiliate and hands them a tape. It's likely that the tapes go through many hands first.
