This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

Gravatar LOVE IT!

Thanks for the chuckle, and hope your weekend is a good one!

Gravatar The Dallas airport is already fucked up without crashing those turds together. Why not redirect them for a mid-air crash in the desert - perhaps somewhere near where all the illegal Mexican immigrants are crossing?

Kill two birds with one stone - I always say.

Gravatar Too good. I am printing that one up and it is going up on the wall at work.

Gravatar Funny joke, but if you know anything about flying it's nonsense.

Runways are named for compass headings.

9R is facing 90 degress, so there's no such thing as "eastbound on 9R".

That runway would be 27L, for 270 degrees.

It is a funny joke, but it's way wrong.

Gravatar I visited here a few weeks ago. I was looking for extremists in the political spectrum as a hobby. The idiocy on this site is amazing. But before you start assuming I'm "on the other team" and a "stupid liberal" as many of you so blindly generalize (in all your self-righteous glory), know that I see both sides as equally stupid.

I extend to each and all of you a challenge:

Explain to me how liberals and conservatives are so different. Not just in their stated agendas and beliefs, but what they actually practice. Without creative ant-grasshopper or air controller analagous stories, if you can manage that.

Gravatar Sorry Kole, this blog is called 'Say No to P.C.B.S.' Not, "I'm a conservative, praise da lord."

And you seem to only stop by on Friday Funnies day. Funnies, as in FUN-EEE!!! As in laugh or don't.

Tell you what. Next time I write an opinion piece, if you have anything to contribute to that post, please, comment, and I'll respond.

Since I am not an extreme right winger, you'll have to find someonme else to answer on that.

Gravatar Come on, Jenn - this is almost too easy:

Conservatives have a sense of humor.

Gravatar Uh, yup, you got that one Cary.

Gravatar Yes, it is true that I tend to stop by on Fridays. Random chance I guess. But my comment (if I didn't make this clear the first round) wasn't in response to just the "friday edition" of your blog... it's to all your posts.

And sorry, I just don't find the Friday funnies funny at all. I've read better thought out jokes from Laffy Taffy wrappers. I don't care that you flame left-wingers at all, it has nothing to do with being offended or anything like that, I just see them as stupid jokes. You know how when people get drunk and they tell jokes and then laugh hysterically and everyone else is like, "right... that's really funny..." that's kind of how I am reading your (or whoever's) jokes.

You say this blog is not, "I'm a conservative, praise da lord," but that's EXACTLY what this site is. It's "Conservatives can do no wrong and liberals can do no right." Fine, that's your opinion, and the brainless followers on here, go ahead and feel that way. But nobody here responded to my challenge to point out the real differences between reds and blues. The Friday editions are the only ones that seem to draw distinctions between the two groups, in a really baseless way, so maybe that's why I mentioned those in my post (every other day is "bash this democrat" "praise this conservative" "Clinton sucks!" "Bush is awesome!").

My point is that the differences are few and not that different. See, if Kerry, he would have done virtually the same things Bush has. Retaliated against al-qaeda, failed with FEMA, wiretapped without a warrant, ad infinitum. And the conservatives would be crying and bitching about how important constitutional rights are and how war is too simple of a response. But because Bush is supported by the RNC, his opposition makes those same charges, supposedly from a completely different platform.

Have you ever read Dr. Seuss's "The Sneetches"? I highly recommend it. And if you really think that your political views are so different, then please, please explain to me how. Surely someone here can rise to that challenge. Surely.

Gravatar Sorry, my comment was supposed to read, "If Kerry was elected..."

Gravatar Kole, other than my Friday funnies, I don't do a lot of "every other day is "bash this democrat" "praise this conservative" "Clinton sucks!" "Bush is awesome!"

I bash pretty indiscriminately. I just loathe bullshit liberals. They top the list. That's not to say that conservatives don't have their fair share of scum sucking bottom feeders.

Can you find a time I ever said BUSH IS AWESOME?????? And meant it?

Mainly I like to concentrate on current events and politically correct BULLSHIT.

I've read everything Suess put out. My favorite being the Lorax. Still makes me misty when they cut down those Truffala trees.

Gravatar Okay, I will concede that I haven't seen any outright comments in favor of Bush (but I haven't exactly searched this site in depth, either). I haven't read anything critical either. Your header starts with "Bitch slapping liberals" and then there's a strawman argument against liberals from some equally angry right-winger.

You don't try and make a secret about your support for the Bush administration (despite its many flaws and mistakes) or your hatred for any opposition (despite its valid points). So, despite your cry of innocence and insistence that you "bash pretty indiscriminately," there's a hell of a lot of discrimination in who and what you bash. Like I said, that's fine. Your blog, your brain, your life, whatever. So I'll repeat my challenge for a third time: explain the significant differences between libs and cons. If you can break out anything meaningful (not abortion, or gun control, or welfare), I would love to understand what it is that makes your team so much better than the other team.

Then, maybe you would like a star on your belly?
