Yup, she's a Grade A selfish bitch.
I hate her.
I can't stand her.
She's ruining my life and degrading everything soldiers have fought so hard to achieve in Iraq.
I wish her ugly ass would just disappear and let the military do what they want with her son's grave.

How can a mother NOT put a headstone of some sort on her son's grave whether or not she approves of the way he died?
I hope someone sneaks in and puts a military headstone up on his grave. She can put up hundreds of other soldiers headstones why cant she be bothered to put one up on her son's grave?
I understand his father is going to put one up even though it will come out of his pocket not the insurance money she got.

It's true: Say some idiotic and hateful things and you'll fit right in.
Just a little test.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Though truth be told, I agree with everything but:"She's ruining my life".
I like this take:"This is NOT a grieving mother –if real grief were involved, there might be reason to be sympathetic. This is a psychosis of ignorance and mean spiritedness, encouraged by a cadre of media hyenas whose only purpose is to advance an agenda that is on the lunatic fringe (or should I say, over the cliff)."
Such a grieving sweetheart!!!!!
Cindy Sheehan -- excerpts from her Address to Veterans For Peace Convention, August 8, 2005
*. . . somebody's gotta stop those lying bastards.
* Then we have this lying bastard, George Bush, taking a 5-week vacation in a time of war.
*. . . but I'm either gonna be in jail or in a tent in Crawford, waiting until that jerk comes out and tells me why my son died.
* So what really gets me is these chickenhawks, who sent our kids to die, without ever serving in a war themselves. They don't know what it's all about.
* So anyway that filth-spewer and warmonger, George Bush was speaking after the tragedy of the marines in Ohio, he said a couple things that outraged me.
* And I know I don't look like I'm outraged, I'm always so calm and everything, that's because if I started hitting something, I wouldn't stop til it was dead.
And, he also said, he says this often, and this really drives me crazy, he said that we have to stay in Iraq and complete the mission, to honor the sacrifices of the ones who have fallen.
* To make my son's death count for peace and love, and not war and hatred like he [Bush] stands for.
* And I'm gonna tell them, "You get that evil maniac out here, cuz a Gold Star Mother, somebody who's blood is on his hands, has some questions for him."
* And I'm gonna say, "And you tell me, what the noble cause is that my son died for." And if he even starts to say freedom and democracy' I'm gonna say, bullshit.
* You're taking away our freedoms. The Iraqi people aren't freer, they're much worse off than before you meddled in their country.
* You get America out of Iraq, you get Israel out of Palestine
* And if you think I won't say bullshit to the President, I say move on, cuz I'll say what's on my mind.
* What can we do to get him out of power? And I'm gonna say the “I” word. Impeach. And we have to have everybody impeached that lied to the American public, and that's the executive branch, and any people in congress, and we gotta go all the way down and we might have to go all the way down to the person who picks up the dogshit in Washington because
* We can't let somebody rise to the top who will pardon these war criminals. Because they need to go to prison for what they've done in this world. We can't have a pardon. They need to pay for what they've done.
* And I want them to come after me, because unlike what you've been doing with the war resistance, I want to put this frickin' war on trial. And I want to say, "You give me my son, and I'll pay you

Time after time she proves a simple concept:
She is most certainly Spc. Sheehan's BIOLOGICAL mother.
She is FAR from a true mother that is willing to place her child before herself. A true mother does not USE her child as a way to malign this country.
Hey Pete. That same 1st Amendment that allows her to go about spewing hate speech across the country -- cross that -- around the world is the one that provides me the right to say she is a disgrace to mothers everywhere and to this country.
Yes, I HATE her. For a long time I was "sorry for her", now it is obvious her true intentions which made me take her out of the category of "grieving" to "bitching" on to "bitch."
I dare not go near her, for I fear the results.

Come on, mdconservative, can't you see the loving wholesomeness and "We Are The World" togetherness inherent in Cindy's remarks? No, you see, she is totally misunderstood and really hasn't a hateful bone in her body. You just need to be more tolerant of her views.
On the other hand, as soon as the libs remove the rose colored earmuffs and matching glasses, they will understand that tolerance, civility, and politeness all need to go hand in hand. And, they are all an exchange situation - you exchange civility, politness and TOLERANCE with one another, and you wouldn't have extreme statements coming from either side.
Dissing the POTUS (or any other senior government leader), whether you agree with him or not, should be done so the rest of the world can't tell if we are a dysfunctional country or not. For the sake of our security as a whole, the rest of the world cannot be allowed to see that we are easily fractured by extreme statements.
Remember the old saying? United we stand, Divided we fall. Never truer than now.

She continues to shame everything the good men and woman of our armed forces stand for.
There are times I wistfully wish that instead of the movie being called ole yeller that it was called ole shamehan.
What a disgusting excuse for a human being she is.

I really don't have much to add - everybody here has pretty much said it all! I felt sorry for her for about 5 seconds - until she opened her mouth and I immediately thought how disrespectful she was being to her son's memory.
He not only fought for a cause he believed in, he also re-enlisted to complete that mission and paid the ultimate price. He is a hero in the true sense of the word - the kind of young man that makes this country so great.

It is important to realize that in the immediate moments of finding out a family member, especially your child, has died... I didn't blame her for almost anything that she said. It is hard to prevent emotions from taking over.
Years after, very different story.
If she wants to dissent, fine.., it is the manner she decides to do so that has us all pissed off at her.

If her son could speak from beyone, I wonder what he'd have to say about his own mother acting in such a disgraceful way. She didn't have time to put a headstone up, but she had time for some photo ops of her laying on his grave (and smiling while doing so). What an anti-American nutjob she's become.

Apparently "My Space", you can't even read, so I'd suggest you let others review things in the future.
