You know, I always wondered...... why are there any palestinean refugees at all? I mean the middle east is a very, very big place. And it's also a very, very, very wealthy place. Oodles and oodles of cash from oil. Why haven't the countries of the middle east just absorbed the refugees???? Israel has absorbed some, so has Jordan.

Where else on the planet would lobbing rockets into a population on a daily basis be acceptable? Where else on the planet is it acceptable to go into a resturant and blow up innocent people - and no one condems it!

Because none of the arab countries consider the palistinians to be arab. They are just trash and in their eyes about a quarter step higher than the israelis.
No, No, No! What we have here is a bunch of history being rewritten!
1. England gives a bunch of unused land to the Jews in 1948.
2. Arabs immediately decide this is unacceptable and attack.
3. Arabs are repeatedly repelled and in 1968 Isreal actually trumps them so badly they get more land. Refugees pushed out of their homes hang out and whine.
4. Arabs decide to steal the name Palestinians (Jews used to use the name to refer to themselves) and declare a separate "nation" and whine some more about vctimization.
5. Planet forgets about its history and starts to believe the lies. Condemnation of Isreal for defending itself begins.
6. Isreal gets beat down and starts to actually try to reason with insane people. Gets repeatedly screwed and attacked despite they're good intentions.
Lesson learned - do not TALK to these people. They are the biggest liars on the planet. This is what they (islam) plan for the rest of us.
These maniacs have actually calculated that since they have a billion members a nuclear war killing entire nations would allow them acceptable losses.

The flyover was the second time Israel has buzzed Assad's summer palace. In August 2003, warplanes reportedly flew so low that windows in the palace shattered. At the time, Israel said the flyover was aimed at pressuring Assad to dismantle Palestinian militant groups based in his country.

Hey Dave, I like the way you just write whatever history is convenient for you. The land was the "Ottoman Empire". They sided with Germany and got their ass kicked in WWI. The British were there by treaty and had every right by said treaty to do what they did.

If he REALLY wants to get technical, the LAND belonged to the Jews - before the moslims (replicating like the cancer they are) STOLE it from them and drove them out. This dispersed them throughout Europe and put them at the tender mercies of the Third Reich.
England simply gave the land back and was, as Darwin pointed out, theirs to give. This was, of course, given the official "okey-dokey" of the United Nations.

Jews were moving to Isreal long before it became a country. The Zionist movement was in place well before the Third Reich and WWII. Britain didn't give anything, they may have drawn a line on a map but the Jews were already there, draining swamps and irrigating desert. The British can't give what they never had. Further more, in 1948 when Israel's sovereignty was challenged it was Israeli troops that stopped and invading army, not the British.
