I recently learned that peanuts are originally native to South America. They were brought back by the Spanish, made their way to Africa where they are a staple crop today. The peanut made it's way to North America via the slaves that were brought here.
So, I'm thinking Jimmah, being a mega peanut farmer who has made mega bucks off peanuts, somehow feels "guilty" that he became rich and famous by starting off in life growing peanuts brought to him by slaves.

One of the reasons society has advanced is because of cooperation. And of course this is directly contradictory to unilateralism.
Take rape for example. In some species, it is a very successful means of reproduction and survival of the species. But what good is surviving if it is at the expense of social and technological advancement? If you are a Bushite, you probably can’t see the connection (as will become apparent below). So let me spell it out for you.
In a civil society, rape causes a disruption to expected behavior. If everyone is always looking over their shoulder, they are less productive and less efficient in everything else they do. We outlawed it because of ethics and morality but those same ethics and that same morality provided an environment where society - were people do not have to look over their shoulders anymore and could be more efficient, more productive, more creative. This is true of any violence or leaders or nations that have a propensity for acting on violence rather than cooperation. Those nations go into decline.
This operates both within nations and internationally. The US no longer is well respected in the world. And the root cause is one of denial of intellect and our curde acceptance and embrace of our primitive (socially disruptive) natures both in our people and our president. We no longer contain ourselves but act out unilaterally without concern for anyone else. And now everyone is looking over their shoulders and we are less productive, less efficient… we are in decline.
Look at the US before Bush. Compare the state of the nation at that time to China. We were on top of the world and it was believed no one could ever catch us. But guess what? Now we have Bush and for the last 6 years our economy and society have been going downhill. There is a reason (social science) why the US was the most successful nation up through the 60s and 70’s. But now we are going downhill. And there is a reason for it (at least for those with any sense of intellect and capacity to think for themselves).
It is easy to act unilaterally. Like rape, you just give in to your primitive instinct, pick up a club and start swinging. There are those on this list who get off on things like this. Primitive behavior. Like a mob (GOP?), you don’t think for yourself but are so easily convinced to give in to the rage, rape and pillage. Most call you busites but there is another name for it.

Unless you have been in a hole, what Bush has done with the economy IN SPITE of 9-11 is absolutely astounding. If it hadn't been for his efforts the economy would have sunk like a rock.
