This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

I'm awaiting the final report on the "liquid" also. However, it's probably isn't coincidence that she's Pakistani. If you think this incident could be troubling ...

Remember the woman yesterday who caused a London to Virginia flight to divert to Boston? There's a tad more to this than our "non-biased" MSM will let you know. Read the link.

I've got family from Huntington, WV, and trust me...the mysterious liquid is definitely moonshine!

"definitely moonshine"

lol ... Now THAT would make a damn good explosive.

Gravatar The second test came back positive. It was probably a test run to see if they could sneak it on board using a woman (since we've been talking about profiling MEN). I hope they roast her!

Gravatar *GASP!!*

No it's not shocking. What?!? Is this "kill all the infidels" week?

Gravatar Tell you what, I've had real WV Moonshine. And believe me, I had too much and it was definately explosive.

But, in all seriousness, I'm with you Wit. Trial run.

I also, Darwin, really read up on psycho lady claiming "claustrophobia" and there is WAY more than meets the eye there too. Not only was she a certifiable nutter, she could have been testing the waters to see how far they let her go. And because the media is diligent(larf), I know she was allowed to go repeatedly to the bathroom, allowed to urinate on the floor and pass "threatening" notes to the airline personel. Not only that, but according to her passport, she'd just come from Pakiland. All of that before they finally took her down. One chick.

P.S. I have a bit of claustrophobia myself these days, came on in my late 20's, but when I feel the "feelings" come on, I can talk myself down, or I take myself out of the situation. On a plane, where I have had issues before, all it takes is a few cocktails and I'm fine. I certainly don't urinate on the floor.

I still wait for the "official" results, but I know, as do others, that these are trial runs. And in those vials, really, what is in them? I'm not a paranoid tinfoil hat wearing nut job, but anyone else ever see that stupid movie 12 Monkeys?

Believe me, I have my feet firmly planted on Terra Firma, but who the heck knows what to expect.

And Wit, the profiling should be across the board ANYONE who is Muslim. ANYONE. I don't give a flying fig if they are a 10 year old, profile them.In other words, strip 'em down to their skivvies and have at it.

If not, I'm thinking Infidel Air is looking better everyday.

And no, it's not "fear" it's called survival.

Gravatar oh well- liquid lady found not explosive and jurno just nuts. Sorry, I still don't care. Liquid lady should wake up and follow the rules. As for the jurno, hey, I get claustrophobic too- but you know what? I'd get even more with a bunch of sky marshalls, staff and passengers kicking the shit outta me- so I maintain and watch the movie for fucks sakes!

Gravatar But we can't conduct any racial profiling! Geez, sometimes I think we're just lucky with this no-attacks-since-9/11 line. Britain takes a different approach, and they've even coopted some British Muslims to turn-in suspicious rag-head types. We need to stay tough, in any case. Today's federal court ruling, which I haven't fully digested, suggests that our court process is slowing down a vigorous prosecution of the GWOT though non-military tactics. More about that later. Keep up your great work over here! Go Jenn!

Gravatar In view of the events in West Virginia last night, and the ban on bottles, jars and cans on planes, this short film seems even more topical:

Enjoy, and share.

Gravatar Dear Anon, How tedious. One of your home movies?

Gravatar http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/ 2...in1906433.shtml

"But law enforcement sources say the substances that tested positive were cosmetic-based products and not a threat CBS News reports."

This does not make sense. Highly trained bomb sniffing dogs and sophisticated detection tests alerted on "cosmetic-based products"? If true, wouldn't the dogs be alerting like pinball machines all across the country?

Was this some kind of Pakistani cosmetic with a C-4 base? Nitroglycerin eyeliner?

"It looks like there were four items containing liquids," said TSA spokeswoman Amy von Walter. "Two of those containers tested positive."

"A machine that security checkpoint screeners use to test for explosives registered positive, and a canine team also got a positive hit, von Walter said."

This just doesn't make sense.

"No charges were filed against the woman, who was taken from the airport by federal authorities at 5 p.m., Salyers said."

Huh? If there was nothing but "cosmetics" ... why not let her continue on her way?

Maybe I'm just reading too much into this.

Gravatar Better safe than sorry. I'm glad we're taking such precautionary measures.

BTW, please post the BARC logo and blogroll, it could use the exposure. Thanks Jenn.

Gravatar No problem Tastic, I just sent you an e-mail if you could resend the blogroll and graphic I'll pop it up today.

Darwin, that sh*t is so fishy, I feel like we should make a batch of chips to go with it.

Those dogs are highly trained. HIGHLY. I just watched a special on Animal planet not that long ago, and they try tricking the dogs with fakes and whatnot, and the dogs know better. They don;t point on something unless it's the real thing 99.9% of the time. Add to it that the "cosmetics" came back positive as explosives..... Come on now.

Gravatar Jenn ... Real fishy. What makes it even more fishy is the way the MSM just dropped it. The least I expected was an onslaught of "she was profiled and picked on because she was Pakistani" pieces from the MSM but they're quiet.

Oh well, like I said, could be nothing.
