This is sad. Political correctness has allowed scum and vermin to flourish. Back in the good old days of common sense, these types would never had done this because not only would their parents have taught them better, they also would have had their asses whupped.
Nowadays well deserved ass-kickings are a thing of the past unless you can afford a lawyer.

I remember once, I worked in a mall across from a Needless Mark-Ups (Nieman Marcus), they sell fur coats, so all these PETA freaks were standing out from chanting fur is dead, fur is murder. They were carrying these signs with dead animals all over them. They were freakin' the ever loving hell out of all the kids there to see Santa.
I was so pissed after a while I went over and asked them to leave. You should have heard the slurs they threw at me. And they didn't leave, we called the cops, they didn't have a permit, and they were on private property.

I think we all might actually agree on something here, Jenn.

Norfolk VA, where I work, is PETA HQ Central. They have a four story building with a big, blue PETA on the side. We don't really hear that much about them here. I guess they're smart enough not to crap in their backyard.

You can peg me as anything you'd like. That doesn't mean you're right. Glad you concur though. There's a lot of little punks who need to get their prescription filled.

Typical PETA hypocrisy.
Kinda reminds me of last summer's PETA protest of a fundraiser at the Florida Aquarium because sushi was being served. Don't these people realize that many fish eat other fish... raw? Is that not sushi too?
Next time you see animal rights nutters screaming and carrying on, make sure you check out their shoes: Almost always, they are made of leather...

"Back in the good old days of common sense"
You keep saying this... can you clue me in as to when in the history of the world commen sense was bountiful commodity?
PETA is a terrorist organization, it's as simple as that. They use tactics of fear, antagonization and destruction to further their agenda. They make regular LARGE donations to oragnizations like the ALF (Animal Liberation Front) who's tactics include firebombing research labs and destroying private property.
They employ individuals on the FBI watch list as public speakers for middle schools and high schools, and have been video taped instructing students on the ins and outs of incindiary bombs for political purposes.
Here are some quotes from the Queen bee herself Ingrid Newkirk for your enjoyment.
“I wish we all would get up and go into the labs and take the animals out or burn them down.”
— "National Animal Rights Convention", 6/27/97
“Even if animal tests produced a cure for AIDS, we’d be against it.”
— September 1989 issue of Vogue, 9/1/89
"Sometimes the only kind option for some animals, is to put them to sleep forever"
That last quote just FLOORED me... Ingrid Newkirk, the woman that opposes the ownership of pets, who abhors cures based on animal derivitives, and demands TOTAL animal Liberation... advocates the outright killing of animals in "certain cases". PETA even has walk in freezers in which they store the bodies of the animals they euthenize every year.
Animals killed by PETA in 2004:1325
Animals recused by PETA in 2004:2103
By their own numbers in 2004... they only RESCUED 778 Animals in ONE year.
WOW, and they claim to be successful?

LOL, Henry. That recollection above, one guy who was really in my face (because I said humans were meant to eat animals, that's what omnivores do...)he was wearing Birks. They didn't make synthetic Birks back then. I said,"Nice dead cow you've got on your feet." He had enough brains to STFU.
Yes, James, they are terrorists as well as ELF(Earth "Liberation" Front)too.
In fact, ELF burned down some buildings right down the street from my current home last year.
The irony, is that by burning down the almost completed buildings, they caused the housing company to have to rebuild. That meant more wood, more big trucks on the roads and the smoke from the fire pumped crap out into the air you could smell 20 miles away. Way to go Morons.
I love animals, often more than people, in fact, I almost got run over by a car once saving my dog, but the level to which these psychos go in their "love" is sickening.

The Politically Correct Movement began in earnest back in the 70's. Took a short break in the 80's and has been growing increasingly since the 90's.
It has currently reached a level as to, in its own way, become a policy in and of itself. In fact it's actually more of a disease.
Symtoms of P.C. poisoning include the inability to say Merry Christmas, calling people of non-European decent by their country, hyphenated with America (i.e. "African-American), and the acute inability to say anything for fear it might offend others.
As you can see, I have not yet been infected by this ravenous disease.

I know people like this. I guess "this" means Liberals in general. Regard animals and their well-being over humans. WTF mate?!
One particular bloke is exactly as your little slogan at the top of your blog describes. He constantly bashes republicans. He constantly will not shut the f**k up. He constantly blasts all republican views and opinions as wrong. I say constantly because you cannot actually have a normal conversation without liberal BS being dragged into the mix. Yes, he's a d**khead and a waste of time.
What's worse is his wife is, or was, a church going republican. A fun, non-descriminating person. He has rubbed off on her over the years, to the tune that she has changed for the worse. Now she at times bitches and complains about stupid political crap.
THEN. She see's no alarm in the fact that her own mother cheated on a number of husbands. She just found out that her dad who died when she was a girl is actually not her father. She supports her mother with a married man now because "her mother needs to be happy". Always selfish, only looking out for their own good.
Yeah, pretty f**ked up.

I don't know why these domestic terrorist groups are allowed to even exist in this country. I know they have it even worse in England! I heard over there they even stole somebody's deceased mother from her grave and held her hostage until their demands were met. (WHERE'S KRIS?)
Knock it off James! There was indeed a time when common sense reigned supreme. I remember it and I really miss it! These PC idiots are CRAZY! It's gotten to the point that schools won't let kids play tag because it could cause a loss of self-esteem if someone is IT.
Back to PETA - in the public schools out here (before they got the boot!) these a**holes were coming into classrooms and telling children that milk was for baby cows only and that if their mommy gave them milk they would turn into Jeffry Dalmers and grow up to kill and eat people.

we don't have PETA here really- we just have a bunch of unwashed "antis" who made it a parliamentary priority to ban foxhunting. YEP, foxhunting. So much for darwin's "democracy" argument. We call it an "elective dictatorship" here as labour have such a big majority they can pass any bullshit bill they want- ergo Let's ban foxhunting- ok- brilliant idea!
These fuckers are so twisted that they found out where one of the director of a animal testing facility dead mom's grave was and dug her up and hid her body for the "ransom" of closing down the facility. I SHIT YOU NOT. If I can find the BBC link, I'll post it.
There is a separate development of case law here specifically aimed at the protection from harassment by these nutters. That's right- "activist" judges have to protect normal joes from harassment from anti-hunt, anti-carnivor action...You coun't make this shit up.

Kris - no need for the link (if you note above I was looking for you yesterday about the same story) but try the London Times - that's where I read the story. If I recall correctly the activists eventually won that one as the researchers closed shop.
These crackheads are taking a page from their Brit counterparts and harassing CEO's homes and families and brag about it on their websites. The link is often so tenuous (like a loan officer who gave a personal or home loan to a scientist who works at a research lab) that people have no idea why they're being terrorized.
These animals (my apologies to animals everywhere!) need to be hunted down and locked up for the rest of their lives.

W, I am mystified why these idgets think that guinea pigs should be protected from all harm but somehow justify people's grandmas, husbands, wives can being assaulted.
At least in the US, the wild-west pioneer days and the subsequent and resulting gun culture means that most people "get" human beings' position in the food chain. In PC Central- All Hail the Sacred Fox!

Personally, I help animals by volunteering at one of the local lagoons, and the city main animal shelter. I also find senior dogs and hook them up with homes.(Particularily Dalmatians.)
I think what I do has more of a positive impact on animals than everything PETA has ever done.

That's pretty cool, Miss Jenn!
As has already been pointed out (by James, I think) PETA kills more animals than they save - many, many more.
Kris - the crackheads I was referring too are using these tactics here in the U.S. That's what I meant by they've taken a page out of their Brit counterparts book.
On the bright side, our law enforcement actually sees this as a crime and hunts these pigs (my apologies to pigs everywhere) down. When they brag on their websites about terrorizing people it's actually been used to convict the rotten bastards!
