I also believe this whole debate is disingenuous - had this movie been made about Bill Clinton the liberals would have been besides themselves in their OUTRAGE!! This movie certainly would never and was never made during Roosevelts presidency.
The most telling thing about this whole situation is that while liberals defend this so-called work, had the positions been reversed and this was a movie about Clinton, conservatives wouldn'd have defended the movie - they too would have condemned it.

As far as Human Rights are concerned - what bunk! England and Canada both have the most severe hate speech laws and people are routinely fined, arrested and incarcerated for the most minor of infractons. The common denominator in those cases is usually offensives against the left wing lobby - meaning anything that is traditional to that culture (which is also OURS) or anything that might upset the militants in their own midst.
Hence the pandering - in this case the "wrongly" profiling of a muslim. This is nothing but PURE propaganda, not only pandering to their terrorists, but also a mental fantasy in killing the only guy who has not only identified the enemy, but is also actively fighting that named enemy.

The first was the dud grenade that was tossed on the same stage with the President, the second the scuffle his Secret Service detail was in and President Bush went to break it up risking his own life as he could have been shot right there because he was in the open unprotected. With the hatred towards President Bush in the World today this Docudrama has no merit! Left Wing Communist groups love the idea of this Docudrama as they must be getting off on it. This Docudrama also serves as more propaganda for Enemies of the United States..

I also would have been against it had it been about killing Clinton - why? A screening of this series was shown in DC and the liberals went nuts! Some even physically threatened the film maker (there goes that libby tolerance again).
Here's the fun part - Former Pres Clinton is personally going to call the CEO of Disney (who owns ABC) to edit the series because it shows his administration in a bad light.

2nd you get Sandy Burglar stuffing incriminating documents down his drawers.
Now you have a docudrama, that is said to accurately portray the failures of the Clinton administration that led to 9/11, about to be censored because of a personal request by the former commander in chief of that administrations failed policy.
If ABC caves and this thing is censored that will be a real shame for it would show the public all the real failures that directly led to 9/11.
