This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

I agree with her first comment about the right for an individual to make the choice.
BUT, if you read her words they're VERY well crafted. As any politician she has given herself an out. My "FAMILY" is very pro-life. If it's shoved back in her face she can very easlily make the observation that her FAMILY is pro-life and she's pro-choice.
Gotta love political double speak it's a great science.

That's the point James... I loathe the "out". It reaks of pond scum. And the problem is, that while you or I can see that she's given herself the out, so many others will not.

How someone with her judgement and values came to hold such a position of power is beyond me and a good study for future generations.
Pelosi and her horde of liberal legislators no more represent the average working democrat than they do the average working republican.
They are a case study in the power of money and lobbyists in todays politics. They represent the furthest fringes of insanity, selfishness and corruption. Democrats are literally owned by militant gays and feminists, unions, illegals and muslims. If they're not reeled in that's who will hold the purse strings of the nation in the near future.
Time to arm up if you haven't already.

How about "Hey, Nancy, how about democracy and federalism? If I don't believe in abortion, and a majority of the people in my state don't believe in abortion, aren't we allowed to legislate it out of our state?" Does it matter what you think, or what others think? No. It matters what the majority thinks.
Hey, Nancy, I know you don't believe in murder, but I do. So you don't have to murder people, but do not tell me what I can do in terms of honoring my belief and responsiblities when it comes to murder.
An extreme example, of course. The point it: Liberals will always push to ban things they disagree with, but when they are in the minority, they try to prevent the majority from "ruling" by claiming "intolerance" or some other bullshit.
Nancy Pelosi is a bitch.

PrivatePigg you are my hero! You may have stole my thunder but I couldn't have put it better! That's the whole point of states rights and that's how it's supposed to be. Why should my tax dollars go to pay for something I consider murder?
The supremes should never have interferred in this. It was already legal in several states and states could have legislated this issue according to the will of the people living in those states. To this end, people could have voted with their feet.
Have you folks noticed that this woman has had so many face lifts that her eyes no longer close all the way when she blinks? Creepy!

...'But don’t tell somebody else what they can do in terms of honoring their responsibilities..' HUH?
Ahh, what about birth conrol?
That sounds like a responsible thing.
She's nuts man!
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what becomes of a human embryo, Nothing other than a human.
So in effect whether you believe in evolution/creation, the sum paired chromozones produces a living being.
So, in reality, you are killing a potential life.
Is that responsible?
Interesting how you summed up your beliefs jen. You are pro-choice (which is to agree with abortion advocates), yet you say abortion is killing a potential child.
So when does a choice take preference over a life? Than ones choice is what matters most if you are pro-choice.
Pro-life does not advocate killing the unborn.
A more responsible approach would be to give it up for adoption. Then you are pro-life.

Nancy's interview is on Yotube, the thing is she's full of shit and no matter how hard 60mins/CBS tried to pain Pelosi as the next speaker it's not going to happen because the bullshit coming from the Democrats and the MSM is going to get the Conservative Base out..

Did anyone else realize that Pelosi is for federal funding of abortions? I just heard that on Fox the other night when Newt was on, though I have not checked out the validity of it.
How can you say it's each person's choice and then expect the government to pay for it?
I can't stand her.

Anyone else care to make a confession?
Sure. I voted for Perot in '92. That was before I saw him the next year on Larry King, debating Gore about NAFTA. It was at that moment I realized: "Wow! Ol' Ross is a real nutbar!"
I didn't make the same mistake in '96.

I voted for Clinton in 92 also. By 96 I was so disgusted I didn't vote at all. It's the only time in my life I didn't vote.
I also didn't wise up...I voted for Gore in 2000. That was the last time I voted for a dem.
I guess I'm a late bloomer. Took me a while to grow up and pay attention. I apologize to my country...(hangs head in shame).
