Actually, this is how Russia works. In the US all political appointees tender their resignations when we have a change in the Oval Office. This happens even when the same guy or party is elected.
In Russia, on the other hand, they fire em! Now the same guys that were fired can and do get their jobs back, but it can also be used to replace folks who didn't quite toe the line or who fell out of favor.
This bomb thing, on the other hand, is disturbing. Also, don't think for a moment that what is happening in Iran is an accident. This is Russia's way of having a nuclear weapons program - by-proxy - so they don't officially violate the Treaty for Non-Proliferation.
I know this because my last job was under this treaty and I worked specifically with Russia - even went there. Don't worry - this is all unclassified. I'm not giving away any secrets!
Funny of course, because we will see silence on the left, as we did when Chavez deicded to rule supreme indefinitely. The left love to abstain from practicing their freedom of speech when it's not America they're criticizing.
