This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

Gravatar the link went to another page, which said that the deaths were down in baghdad but UP outside of baghdad.

www.antiwar.com/justin

^democrats are taking heat from the base

Gravatar I can't take anymore of Dingy Harry and Eye-twitch Pelosi. Somedays I wonder if the American people are really as dumb as Harry and Nancy think they are ... afterall, they're nothing but crooks but the people keep voting them in everytime.

Gravatar YELLOW BELLIED HARRY the lilylivered demacratic wussietard im sure he is doing this for some reason or other

Gravatar firebird- that's why people usually do things!

Gravatar yeah the iraqis will be so angry at us for leaving they'll somehow get control of a plane post 9-11 and steer it into one of our buildings.

it's good this man is a soldier . he certainly doesn't understand politics or national security

Gravatar That was funny.

Gravatar Funny being the response to firebird.

Gravatar who cares

Gravatar You don't so why ask me?

Gravatar this has to be the quite est "blowback" anyone has ever gotten. reid has been unaffected by his frank and accurate remark. hopefully he'll make more of them. clearly, no one except the lunatic WMD's in Syria fringe is at all bothered by what he's saying.

Gravatar Lester, way to root for America..You'll be happy when we all have to kneel down 5 times a day, hack heads off, and beat our women for not wearing their burka... Good one Lester, thanks for being on the right side of the enemy. I am so glad to Rah the terrorist along with Reid.. You are despicable!

Gravatar Firebird

I been reading you quite a bit lately and I think you should just come out and say what you really think.

Gravatar Harry Reid needs to resign NOW! If not he needs to be removed from office somehow to send a nice message to the rest of the hacks!

These demon-rats really are showing their true colors and they keep saying this is what the American people want.

Ah - NO - you a$$hat! We want to WIN!

The problem with these polls that they follow is that they are slanted with leading questions such as: "If all if lost and there is no hope of winning, should America sacrifice more American lives to a hopeless war?" I kid you not! THAT'S what's being asked in these damned polls!

I also know when they get me on the phone they hang up on me when they find out I'm conservative! So I just end the conversation early by saying; "I'm a white Christian Conservative, so NO! You DON'T want MY opinion!" CLICK!

Gravatar Lesturd look out behind you.....BANG BANG too late nevermind

Gravatar Harry is right you losers

http://americablog.blogspot.com/...d- diogenes.html

Gravatar Troll alert!! Please don't feed the beast....

Gravatar Heyyy I'm back. Just reading up on all the posts I've missed. I'm sorry to hear about San-Fran, but I could have told you that along time ago.

The devil dog is correct, the families need us there.

Gravatar Casualties are down? Are you serious? I mean, is that a factual statement? Your link just takes me to another blog that seems to be linking the same comment to another blog. More or less, linking in circles to nothing substantial.

It's my understanding that this weekend over 200 Iraqis were blown up in the street in one day.

This is my first visit to your blog, but right off the bat I just can't seem to get past the first post.

Gravatar Figures compiled by the AP from Iraqi police reports show that 1,586 civilians were killed in Baghdad between the start of the offensive and Thursday.

That represents a sharp drop from the 2,871 civilians who died violently in the capital during the two months that preceded the security crackdown.

Outside the capital, 1,504 civilians were killed between Feb. 14 and Thursday, April 12 compared with 1,009 deaths during the two previous months, the AP figures show.

Gravatar whoa Jenn, libs don't like facts it clogs their idiotology....

Gravatar I just saw this. Should we berate him too?

http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/...ul/ paul382.html

For what it's worth, he doesn't have much patience for the Democrats on this issue:

http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/...ul/ paul378.html

I may comment at my own home base but since it's 2 am, I'm going to bed.

Jenn, sorry to lose you. My internet access went to hell a while back.

Gravatar Is Harry polishing his flagpole? He should be. I bet he can't wait to hoist the white flag. Rat bastard.

The dummycrat plan- bash Bush, oppose any plan to win, and surrender as soon as possible -may be gaining ground among other dummycrats, but it still makes no sense. Bash Bush all you want, but how about coming up with an alternative that makes sense?

Seems to be an alien idea to the lefty loons.

Gravatar JJ-They don't have and don't want a plan. They want defeat,so they can further say how Bush made a mess of Iraq. The closer we get to succeeding the more they hold up the white flag. They don't want Bush to go down in history as bringing democracy to the ME. They will be casting spells from the grave.
Just once I would like to hear one of them say We will take full responsibilty for the results of withdrawing. But of course we'll never hear that because it doesn't fit the agenda.

Gravatar From that same AP report, which you really don't link to:

"U.S. officials have cautioned that numbers alone cannot provide a complete picture of the security situation.

The Baghdad crackdown was designed to provide the Iraqi government with what U.S. officials call a "secure platform" and to buy time for the country's religious and ethnically based political parties to agree on key reforms.

So far there has been little progress on that front.

Sunni and Shi'ite militants remain a potent force — regardless of whether they are slaughtering civilians in the capital at the previous rate.

On Thursday, extremists managed to penetrate the most secure part of the capital — the Green Zone — and launch a suicide attack in the building where the Iraqi parliament meets.

Earlier in the day, a suicide truck bomber heavily damaged a major bridge across the Tigris River, collapsing part of the span into the muddy waters.

Such spectacular attacks may not produce a large number of civilian casualties. But they undermine public confidence — which the U.S. military believes is essential for lasting stability..."

"Furthermore, the number of civilians killed by suicide bombers has risen in Baghdad — 352 during the crackdown compared with 279 in the two months before..."

"The AP count includes civilians as well as government officials and police and security forces, and is considered a minimum based on AP reporting. There have been no figures provided by the U.N. or the Iraqi government since the Baghdad crackdown began."

How down are the numbers, really?

Gravatar Well considering that, what is it? only 3 out of I believe it's 19 providences, are actually experiencing violence, it's not so bad Chris.

Muzzies have been killing muzzies forever and a day, that won't stop, EVER, but the foreign insurgents in Iraq will and can be routed.

Geez, I mean the surge hasn't even been completed. They started on 2/14ish....it's only the 24th of April. Oh and just like at Vtech, it only takes a single crazy to cause a lot of damage.

Gravatar jenn- your numbers seem to indicate that the deaths outside baghdad are up and in baghdad are down. the numbers look just about the same in general.

let me guess, the fact that last week was lke the deadliest week ever shows how "desperate" the insurgency is. lol

dtodeen- "You'll be happy when we all have to kneel down 5 times a day, hack heads off, and beat our women for not wearing their burka... "

is harry reid proposing that? if so I'm totally against it. woman have no legal obligation to wear a burka and i shuold know because i am an EXPERT on the constitution.

Gravatar "is harry reid proposing that?"

Harry is proposing a surrender. They've sent out hundreds of feelers ... Syria must have given a positive response, that's why the grape merchant known as "Pelosi" went there. I don't know how else you can read it. Harry sold his mother some years ago to a Sudanese slave merchant for a few votes. There's nothing this sack of dried shit wouldn't do to make sure they continue to spread their democrat disease.

Gravatar so you admit that what americans want is to admit defeat and leave. after all, you say he is doing what he's doing to get votes.

thank you for acknowledging this.

and dont feel bad. even if we won, bush is still an idiot who subjected us to 4 years of misery that was entirely avoidable.

Gravatar lester, No one but you ... has any idea what you're talking about.

Gravatar I understand what he's saying.

Gravatar Alright, I'll translate for you. With all the idiot trolls I've gotten on this blog I have had to learn idiot speak.

What Lester is trying to say in his special little way, is that if Harry Reid is pandering to his constituants for votes, then he must be saying what they all want to hear and what they believe.

Therefore, Lestard is saying that the left hates this country and are all defeatists.

Gravatar Please interpret Don Geek. Because I'm not following today ...

Gravatar Ok, thanks Jenn

Gravatar Wait a minute ... the democrats wouldn't fight anyway, even if it meant losing votes. They'd rather surrender and hope the conquerer will bestow them with leadership positions and power.

Gravatar Oh the irony.

I'm sitting here drafting a blog post and I just made a comment wondering if a conversation about Iraq could ever be had without referring to someone as a Defeatocrat, surrender monkey, defeatist, leftist, wingnut, extremist, warmonger, chickenhawk or without referring to our President as a war criminal or any possible combination inbetween.

Geez. Maybe I'll have a conversation with myself.

Gravatar Nothing personal toward anyone. I was just amused in an odd geek sort of way.

Gravatar jenn- thank you.

Gravatar STFU surrender monkey!

Gravatar You are welcome lestard, you defeatist, surrender monkey, leftard.

Gravatar you can't be pro america and pro bush at the same time.

Gravatar "you can't be pro america and pro bush at the same time."

Why not? You tell us you're pro-American while at the same time telling us you're pro-hezbollah, hamas, Iran, Muslim Brotherhood and anti-Israel.

Gravatar I knew I forgot leftard. Thanks Jenn.

Gravatar darwin- no contradiction there. none of those forces are intnent on destorying our liberty. bush is

Gravatar Sorry lester, nice try though. Everything I mentioned is the antithesis of liberty and wouldn't survive in an environment of liberty ... and yes, they are intent on destroying our liberty.

Gravatar do you think amish people should be forcibly americanized?

Gravatar They are American. They don't need to be "ized".

Gravatar yeah most americans go ride around in buggies and raise barns in their spare time.

Gravatar Over 3,000 people killed in just under three months, and things aren't so bad? Considering we were told this war would only take a matter of weeks, I would say that 3,000 Iraqis and hundreds of GI's dead since Feb. and now entering the 213th week of the war, things are little worse than "not so bad."

If muslims have been killing muslims forever, and it can't be stopped, then why are we there putting our troops in the middle of something that can't be stopped?

Gravatar chris- because republicans holding on to their fantasies and delusions is more important than our country

Gravatar "Over 3,000 people killed in just under three months, and things aren't so bad?"

Yeah Chris, not so bad if you compare that to the killing that will go on without American forces there. They're killing whoever they can so we'll pull out so they can kill more. Is that what you want?

Gravatar They're killing whoever they can so we'll pull out so they can kill more. Is that what you want?
darwin

Oh Good Grief, YES! These people will NOT be happy until people are dying by the millions! It will reduce the population that is chocking the resorces of the planet, you know.

Gravatar Darwin takes Iraq over the the troops
disgustin, and yo wonder why 70% of this country rejects your ideology

Harry Reid saud the war can not be won militarilary, but rather policically and diplomaticaly

same thing fucking Henry Kissinger said

same thing the Iraq study group said

another piss poor Rove smear on a powerfull Deomocrat

It fell on its face before it took off the right leaves out the part about how the war can be won diplomatically and politically

Just like that pathetic Pelosui attack about Syria, stopped ead in its tracks when we learned Isreal supportd the trip to Syria

this is why the GOP is at 30%

Only morons who take their political party over their own country, follow along with the little Rove game

absolutly pathetic

absolutly irrelevant

Gravatar in case you have not noticed, AMerica has rejected the right wing in record numbers

another failed smear orchestrated on a Democrat

falling flat on its face.

Henry Kissinger said the same thing Reid said

29%ers have 2 ideas

A. legislate for big business
B. Lie and smear

this is exactly why November was crushing to the right, they have become irrelevant, due to their addiction to power

and anyone who supports them, has a lot of mental issues

Gravatar DARwin
proving his irrelevancy believes

we gotta fight them over there so we dont fght them here

His IQ is around that of a 12 year old

Gravatar EVEN morelaughable is Jen's weak attempt to say look the surge is wprking!!

Go join McCain for a trip to the market, you disengenuious liar. I learned ot from a blof of a blog of a blog.

Military deaths wre extremly high last month

9 soldiers died today, its a bloodbath

again cons are taking Bush over America.

Disgusting

they take the war over the troops

disgusting

Gravatar I think someone brought out the Gimp.

Gravatar Looks like JarADD has turned to sock puppetry.

Get a life tool!

Gravatar A sock puppet? Damn. I thought that was a gag ball. My bad.

Gravatar IMPEACH WHITE FLAG, SURRENDER MONKEY, HARRY "THE HORSES ASS" REID NOW!!!!

Gravatar First, I would like to thank you Chris for being a nice "troll". I have no problem answering your questions to the best of my ability.

"Considering we were told this war would only take a matter of weeks"

Who told you that? Bush didn't. Bush made it quite clear this was going to be a VERY long war.

September 20, 2001, speech, President Bush said:

"Our war on terror begins with al Qaeda, but it does not end there. It will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated. ... Americans should not expect one battle, but a lengthy campaign, unlike any other we have ever seen. ..."

Why Chris, why are we there, and Afghanistan? Which everyone seems to forget?

During the last few decades, the terrorists grew to believe that if they hit America hard, as in Lebanon and Somalia, America would retreat and back down. Before September the 11th, Osama bin Laden said that an attack could make America run in less than 24 hours. So now they're trying to break our will with acts of violence. They'll kill women and children, knowing that the images of their brutality will horrify civilized people. Their goal is to force us to retreat. See, they have a strategy. They want us to retreat so they can topple governments in the Middle East and turn that region into a safe haven for terrorism.

Gravatar Thanks Jenn, I do try and be nice if anything

**March 16, Vice President Cheney, on NBC's Meet the Press: "I think things have gotten so bad inside Iraq, from the standpoint of the Iraqi people, my belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators. . . . I think it will go relatively quickly, . . . (in) weeks rather than months." He predicted that regular Iraqi soldiers would not "put up such a struggle" and that even "significant elements of the Republican Guard . . . are likely to step aside." http://www.usatoday.com/educate/...r28- article.htm

I'm sure I could find a better link to the transcript of the interview, but for tonight I'll leave it at that. All this goes without mentioning the former DoD official who said the war would be a cake walk, and the many times Rumsfeld said we were at a tipping point.

All these people, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc., speak for the president unless the president instructs us otherwise. Since 2003 and given the lack of planning we've witnessed concerning Iraq from the Bush administration, we have no reason to believe that Bush thought of the invasion as anything different than what his advisers were telling the public, which is that it would be over in a matter of weeks.

Gravatar There was a thought that it would be easier, yes. As it was in the Gulf War, but then we pulled out then and left them to be slaughtered, so we misjudged their joy to see us this time. They are very nervous that we will leave.

Note that Cheney worded that so well, what a politician:"my belief" is we will, . . . "I think" it will go relatively quickly"

So, he was wrong. But Bush has maintained from day one that it wasn;t to be a short war.

Not to say they want us to leave. We also for some reason didn't count on endless supplies of insurgents and hard core weaponry being funnelled in by Iran and Pelosi's friends in Syria.

Adelman who made the cakewalk comment said:
"I believe demolishing Hussein's military power and liberating Iraq would be a cakewalk."

And it was, Saddam was captured rather easily, and Iraq was liberated from his tyranny quickly.

Also, he's not DOD he's on an advisory board.

Gravatar "There was a thought that it would be easier, yes." That's not at all what you said and not at all what your question was, and not at all what we're talking about. You asked in reference to my matter of weeks comment, "who told you that." You said it wasn't Bush, but it was and I gave a link to back it up. It was the Bush administration that said it would be over in a matter of weeks and we would be greeted as liberators. When Cheney speaks he doesn't speak just for himself, he speaks for the President of the United States, unless the president instructs otherwise. Bush didn't correct Cheney's quote, and thus the Bush administration told us, the American people, that it would be over in a matter of weeks not months, and that we would be greeted as liberators. That was what was asked, not about a "thought" of it being easier.

Note that it matters none that Cheney gave us his opinion, whether he said, "I think," or "my belief," his opinion is nonetheless policy. And his opinion is nonetheless that of the Bush administration's.

There were those who did predict an endless supply of insurgents and weaponry being funneled in through Iran and Syria. There were many who predicted such. And all were called, by Cheney and the neocons, anti-American and un-patriotic.

Contrary to Adelman's cake walk comment and yours, Iraq is still not liberated, in fact it is now occupied by thousands of foreign insurgents and a new tyranny that has proven to be much more violent than Saddam's. One thing is certain, 1,000 people a month weren't being blown up in the streets before March of 2003. If Iraq is liberated, I would hate to see it at war.

Gravatar HARRY REID POTTER AND HIS CHAMBER OF SECRETS, DONT LOOK NOW HARRY BUT FAWKES THE PHOENIX is getting tired of you hanging onto his tail SQUAWK SQUAWK LET GO OR ELSE SQUAWK AQUAWK SQUAWK

Gravatar Yes and we weren't in Iraq on 9/11 or when the Cole was bombed or the Marine barracks....

Opinion is not policy, it's opinion. I mean I have the opinion that we should catapult liberals into the sun....I bet you're glad that's not policy.

And Irag IS liberated from a murderous dictator. What, did you expect a countrey to hatch perfectly? I didn't.

Gravatar we were absoloutrely in iraq on 9/11. we were [patrolling the no fly zone and had sanctions on them. our presence was very much felt.

Iraq hasn't been liberated from anything. If saddam was still in power, we'd have a surplus and a scared out of his shit saddam and people lining up to kiss our butts.

instead we're assed out broke, will probably get hit by one of the thousands of newly trainined al quedas from iraq, and we are turning into a dictatorship.

Gravatar "Iraq hasn't been liberated from anything."

I'm surprised at your stance lester. You're the one always trying to tell us that not all muslims are the same. Liberating Iraq and giving them a chance to build a stable country, oil-backed economy and giving freedom to millions should be a plus in your book.

Gravatar you're surprised I didn't support the iraq war? you aren't very perceptive then.

Gravatar Liberating Iraq and giving them a chance to build a stable country, oil-backed economy and giving freedom to millions should be a plus in your book.

Nah. Not enough Jews died in the process to make it worth Adolf's while.

Gravatar jonathan- it's politically correct, redictable comments like that that has led to your blog being among the least popular on earth!

Gravatar Pffffffffffffff-bwahahahahahahahahaha!

I guess Adolf doesn't know that my blog has been featured in Slate four times, CBS once, and USA Today once.

Not only is he an anti-Semite, but he's a dumb#ss loser, too.

Gravatar Ooooooo lester .... you've been scorched. Better not sit down for a while.

Gravatar I happen to LOVE J's blog.

Gravatar Jenn, now you're confusing yourself with the VP of the United States

Dick Cheney's opinion is absolutely policy. Unless Bush corrects it. And Bush didn't correct Cheney's matter of weeks comment, which makes it the policy of the Bush administration.

No, I didn't expect a country to hatch perfectly, but I did expect the administration to be competent enough to plan accordingly when so many American lives are on the line. And I also believed the administration when it said the war would only last a matter of weeks, not months.

Since I'm not a liberal, I don't care what happens to them. Just as long as we catapult the neocons with them.

Gravatar Thank you, Jenn. You as well, Darwin. Plus a bunch of the regulars here who have meandered over to my blog as well.

Gravatar LOL Chris... nice ass covering there. Gotta give you props. No one here will disagree that this war isn't going well, and it needs something....more.

I don't know what your thanking me for J, I love your blog.

Gravatar when was your blog in usatoday? was it an expose on bad politically correct blogs no one goes to?

Gravatar Geez, Adolf is getting his ass kicked by English.

I state that my blog has appeared in Slate four times, CBS one time, and USA Today one time, which by definition means that a bunch of big name sites are checking me out. Somehow, Mengele takes that to mean "no one".

Poor Adolf...he gets pwned so routinely. Quite sad, really.

Gravatar how did I get pwned? whatever your blog once was it isn't now. there are barely any comments on it. probably because your such a pc weenie it takes the fun out of it. that and the fact that you have nothing interesting to say about anything.

Gravatar whatever your blog once was it isn't now. there are barely any comments on it.

Oh, Adolf. Now I see why you don't have a blog (aside from your techno-idiocy): you don't know the first f#ckin' thing about blogging.

A blog's success is not measured by the number of comments. For example, Texas Rainmaker gets links all the time from Michelle Malkin (one of the most trafficked bloggers out there), and he averages a comment or two for each post. Like me, he moderates his comments and deletes the moonbat droppings or irrelevant troll screeds.

Speaking of Michelle Malkin, she doesn't even allow comments on her blog (and when you see what some of the filthy leftards out there say about her, you'll know why). Nor does Powerline, who, like LGF, contributed to Dan Rather's demise by exposing the forged documents story. By that gaping hole in your cranium that exists where logic should be, you would consider MM and PL blogs to be "not what they once were."

I get more comments than Texas Rainmaker, but his blog is much more read than mine. That brings me to another point, Adolf: there are many more people who read blogs than who leave comments on them. I can tell that by my hit counter's log: I'd say I get about 15 - 20 readers for every comment that gets left.

So why don't you stick to things you know something about, such as dead Jews and gays, and stay away from things you know nothing about, which is damned near everything else?

Now get back in that corner and assume your nut-licking position, son. You've been pwned yet again. Damn, this gets tiring.

Gravatar " Nor does Powerline, who, like LGF, contributed to Dan Rather's demise by exposing the forged documents story."

I dodn't realize dan rather was dead, or that he'd been killed by blogs. what was that 3 years ago?

wow, what a big deal, there's one less piece of evidence showing bush went to the champagne unit instead of serving his country. he's still the worst president ever and was by his own admission a horrible alcoholic and who knows what else at the time.

dan rather's career lasted decades. LGF, powerline, you, michelle malkin and the rest 's best days are inarguably way behind you.

Also, balancing out that one decent rather "expose" have been thuosands upon thousands of conspiracies and "outrages" including my personal favorite "pen gate" where dozens of lgf morons studied a clip of john kerry bring a pen to the 1st presidential debate certain he had somehow cheated.

you calling me adolf because I criticize israel shows what a dinosaur you are. 2003 called. they want their blog back.

Gravatar lester ... donate to Jenn's cause. There are no Jewish canines there as far as I know.
