Have you ever taken the time to read how it's really going in Iraq? No? What our military is doing is remarkable. Not only are they routing what's left of al Qaeda and radical islamists ... they're building a trust between them and the ordinary Iraqi. All these people knew of Americans was what they've been told. They're now seeing a completely different picture. These soldiers are protecting them, giving them a chance to actually be free from tyranny. They're deconstructing all the myths these people have been fed for decades about the west. They're proving that not only are Americans valiant fighters ... which truly impresses the Iraqis, but that they're kind, compassionate and willing to cross the aisles of ideology, and the Iraqis are doing the same.
It's not about war ... it's about constructing an area of stability and democracy right in the middle of islamic radicalism. Islamism cannot function, much less flourish, when people are free to see the truth.
These soldiers, Marines, airmen and sailors volunteer to serve. You sully their efforts with your baseless accusations and attempts to paint them as victims.
