Folks, 26 years ago, didn't a relative of Prince Harry's fight in another war?? WHERE was the outrage over Prince Andrew's safety when he was a helicoptor pilot in the Falkland Islands war???????? (FYI, Prince Andrew saw combat in that war!)
I commend Prince Harry for wanting to serve in the British Army. If his unit is a strong, cohesive unit with high morale who'll fight for each other, I say leave him with his troops in Afghanistan! To his troops he's more than a prince who's 3rd in line to the monarchy of their country; he's their military leader who's willing to undergo the same challenges and hardships of war that they are! I for one would be proud to serve with Prince Harry!
Pulling Prince Harry out of his unit will cause the morale of his unit to plummet!

This was a classic case where some unnamed idiot (minister of defense, perhaps? AND who probably NEVER served in the military) decided they knew what was best, and instead of allowing Prince Harry do do his job of kicking ragheaded ass and taking names, they chose to destroy the morale of his unit instead!
