I'm getting sick of this! The problem seems to be a bunch of lib hacks who are used to a peace-time military and are against warfare of any kind. I know that a lot of that breed are being cycled out (in other words, retired) out here.
I think a lot of these officers are of the same breed. The State Dept. and the CIA are lousy with them.
What I would like to see is these young officer's of today's battle hardened generation, who have fought over there to be the ones in charge. It's their turn now and we need someone who has boot on the ground experience to be in charge at the top levels.
I'm getting sick of litigating this war. It's to the point that these young people can't even defend themselves unless they have a JAG lawyer standing next to them to give them the ok. That's not how you win a war.

Children's hospital built in Nasiriyah? No.
Daily supply runs through Taliban-infested hills to bring clean water and food to remote villages in Afghanistan? No.
Civilians in Baghdad who are now routinely alerting our Troops to weapons caches and the hiding places of terrorists? No.
Just 3 examples of our Troops's successes in the past week. Should anyone wish to quibble over the veracity of theses facts, then either the Department of Defense or Cent Com would be happy to bring you up to date.
