I'm really annoyed about this! The last warming period lasted about 400 years - followed by the little Ice Age that lasted 550 years (circa 1300 to 1850). By my calculations, we are OWED at least 250 more warm years!!!!

I think the new global warming will be described as having "localized effects". That is ... San Diego can be 80, even though the midwest is under 17 ft of snow. There are now "pockets" of global warming.
Beware ... these pockets of warming can have disastrous effect and might well require crabon taxes to stave off the worst effects.
