I'm not trying to be Oliver Stone here but it's pretty hard to beieve anything I'm hearing from Pakistan.
I just watched a clip of the assassination attempt. I made a point yesterday that the guy must have been one helluva shot for what they were CLAIMING had happened, was that a guy with a handgun, in a crowd, managed to hit a moving target in the neck and chest.
After watching the clip I just saw, that really would have had to be a magic bullet. I'll try to find the vid online and you be the judge.
In it, the shooter was to her left and behind her. The vehicle she was riding in ad canopy doors that opened longtitudinaly and were about a foot and a half high when opened. Thats on top of an SUV, not a sedan type car. All that was exposed to the shooter when the gun was fired was the left side of her head. In addition to that the shots were not "aimed". The gun appears to be held over the shooters head and was fired "in her direction". A neck, chest, or abdomen shot would have been impossible.
So, since this video appears to have come forward AFTER the initial explanation, they would have HAD to adjust their reason for the cause of her death.
Did the shooter realize he missed his chance and THEN initiated Plan B, triggering the bomb as a backup?
When that failed, were the bodygards in the car in on the scheme and decide in the confusion they could be plan C???
Or, was she really shot by a sniper from the front as some early reports suggested?
We got a real whodunnit here. Her spit wasn't even dry before they boxed her up and fed her to the worms.

Fox is reporting that a video from Bin Laden is imminent. I've been checking on that too but all I can find is this last out-take from his Ramadan message.

If they really want this settled and closed (especially if their is no government involvement) then they need to do an autopsy and make the results public.
To some hard cases even that won't be enough, but it will be public record.

It's possible with a revolver even if drawn from the hip as in a fast gun draw to hit moving targets but the real clinch is how far away was the vehicle from the shooters position. Hand guns don't have the range that a snipper riffle has.
I still say have an autopsy. Even a novice can tell if she had any holes in her or a cracked skull.
Wild Phil, It was a semi auto, fired one handed while being held over his head so a sight picture could not have been aquired. Bringing the weapon back on target would have been almost as impossible as the right turn the bullets would have had to make to inflict the wounds intitially reported. He appeared to be at least 30 feet away to the side and slightly BEHIND her when the gun went off.

Mispoke????? Did she really mean Daniel Pearl when she said Osama Bin Laden? Those are two names that are difficult to confuse. One more oddity here. Why does she say that Hamzi Bin Landen (Osama's son) may be trying to kill her and not Osama? Sure would seem to underline her statement that Osama was murdered, wouldn't it?

OR, how about this. The US decided that Musharref's days are numbered but they can't simply abandon him and let Pakistan descend into further chaos. So they recruit Bhutto to go back in and retake Pakistan. It's a big gamble but given the distrust most Pakistanis have of Musharraf it just might work, especially if Bhutto were to come out in staunch opposition of Musharraf, which she did. So, she opposes Musharraf AND opposes the radicals. That's a tough spot to be in but she is privatley assured of the backing of the US and coached by US intelligence.
One of the off the cuff statements she is instructed to let slip is the murder of Osama Bin Laden in an attempt to elicit proof of life activity from Al Qaeda. In the interview she basically did that TWICE. Once indirectly by refering to Bin Laden's son possibly wanting to kill her, then, when that went unchallenged, directly, by simply coming out saying he was murdered.
I can hear the conversation. "We'll help you get back in, but we need you to do something for us, find Bin Laden".
Al Qeada sees through her comments and is convinced that she is actively working for the US. BOOM.
What is truly amazing about this video is that a world class interviewer never took her to task on the NUMBER ONE QUESTION IN THE WORLD TODAY.. Where is Bin Laden?? She told him that he was murdered and Frost never even flinched. THAT'S REALLY ODD.
It was the Gunman on the Grassy Knoll. Or Elvis. Or Jimmy Hoffa.
C'mon, be serious. Everybody knows Hoffa is dead.
Ok, here is my guess.(if I was a spook it would be an analysis)
The shooter drew off security long enough to let the suicide bomber to get close enough to detonate effectively.
Concussion will kill you when you smash your head into the intact bulletproof glass.
Makes no sense. The concussion would have been deflected by the canopy door closest to the blast. If that door WASN'T locked in an upright position, THAT door would have collapsed on her from the left. The supposed head wound was on her right side.
This is a picture of the canopy doors with the latch she supposedly hit. Try to visualize her facing you and the blast coming from the right side of the picture and slightly behind. Now look at the latch toward the back on the left side of the picture. That is supposedly her blood. Unfortunately, there isn't blood on the most extruded part of the handle, it's closer to the frame. If you look closer, toward the back of the vehicle on the 'backsplash' is suppose, you'll see more blood which would have had to splatter INTO the blast !! Although the picture is quite grainy, this would appear to be more consistent with a head shot from the front.

I'm not sure I even believe that's her x-ray but if it is, it would appear that she bumped her head very hard.....twice.
Now, how can one confuse that injury with a neck and chest shot?

Now, three things come to mind.
1 Have you ever seen any intelligence agency give away their source of information unedited so quickly. If they really were able to eavesdrop on this group, they certainly can't do it now.
2 If they were really able to eavesdrop on this group, why did't they arrest them BEFORE they carried out the plot, since they apparently show no concern for talking on the telephone.
3 Why haven't they been arrested NOW, before they released this supposed transcript.
I still believe hat Nawz Sharif was involved in this but dagnabbit,there sure are ALOT of interesting angles to this story.
wit said this may compare to the Sadat assassination. I'm beginning to think it may rival the JFK assassination in terms of intrigue.
