This Is Not A Democracy, It's A Republic........

DemocRATs have no work ethic. Even if we were headed for another Great Depression, they would all cash their checks and head for the Cape for the month...

The democrats are desperate to keep to the plan. They know using our own natural resources will quell the public and destroy their plans to nationalize the oil industry and eventually control energy. They want high prices, they want unemployment, they want high prices ... they want whatever it will take for the public to say take it.
This is an excellent window into the so-called Democrat Party, which has neither the interests of the United States or it's people in mind.

The lights were off and the microphones dead ... one of my favorite Representives says:
“This is the people’s House,” Rep, Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) said. “This is not Pelosi’s politiburo.”
Good one Thad! That's exactly what this evil, bought and paid for bitch thinks it is ... her fucking "politiburo".
She should be the first one tarred and feathered as her corrupt, treasonous ass is run out of town.

I don't pretend to know the rules - but do the repubs have enough for a quorum - but if they do, can they vote their own plan in? Iknow that's not how it works but it'd be nice if it did.

I don't know the rules either ... all I know is the democrats are finally being seen for the scum they are.
The Republicans are making a laughing stock outta them, to which I say ... rock on!

Sounds like a wild ride over there:

Rep Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) just pretended to be a Democrat. He stood on the other side of the chamber and listed all of the GOP bills that the Dems killed.
He then said, "I am a Democrat, and here is my energy plan" and he held up a picture of an old VW Bug with a sail attached to it. He paraded around the House floor with the sign while the crowd cheered.

That VW comment is awesome! I laughed so hard! The fact that the Republicans are staying behind and putting themselves out to try and solve the energy issue makes me proud to call myself Republican!

I heard a short blurb on Fox but nothing else. Maybe it'll run tonite on primetime.
Anyway ... I think it's great. Scumbag dems. Unfortunately THERE ARE some democrats who WANT to vote FOR drilling but are being held back by the Satanic bitch Pelosi.
She should be arrested for obstructing the will of the people and causing economic hardship. In fact, the entire Democrat leadership should be arrested.

And that is the big point. She IS obstructing the will of the people and at least for the time being, this is still a Republic.

The REAL test will come when it's seen if the Republican Reps. are still in D.C. tomorrow........if so, then THAT will be truly be the will of the people working......if not..........it will have been a golden opportunity lost.
Prayers for the Reps. to keep the spine they showed today.

Isn't a reason the dems don't want to drill because they are beholding to the enviromental groups that support them like Geenpeace aand the Sierra club?
It's all about the money and the power to the dems, they are bad for us.

I've heard the audio on abc news and it was when Pelosi was shutting down the place. The GOP eruption sounded like a damned riot!

Pelosi should be barred from reentering.

Anyway - from what I understand, Pelosi didn't allow the vote and closed down for recess BECAUSE they (the GOP) DID have the votes for off-shore drilling. There were enough dems who feared their constituents at home who had jumped ship and had sided with the gop. Can't have THAT!!!
Then you have the dickheads who will ban drilling even if gas prices reach $10 a gallon:

It's over
Right at the stroke of 5, Georgia Rep. Tom Price announced that House Republicans were stopping their impromptu protest on the floor of the chamber, ending a five-plus-hour mock rebellion with a round of "God Bless America."
The assembled tourists, aides and members in the chamber gave Price and his compatriots a standing ovation. They left the chamber to shouts of "USA! USA! USA!"

Lol, bought time the GOP does some work. Too little too late, though. Too bad is just grandstanding for a failed energy policy.
Again, they are only making the haters and dumbfucks think they are the noble ones. They aren't.

libdud: "Too bad is just grandstanding for a failed energy policy."
Care to recite that "failed" policy? Just who is responsible for our dependence on foreign oil? Democrats. Who has blocked nuclear power, new refineries, taxed domestic production into non-existence, restricted coal use ...
Just who in the fuck are you trying to kid besides yourself?
You're a fucking idiot.

dud is a tool. You could show him 2+2 and he'd still say green.
The dem agenda is to take control of all energy and then ration it.
Case in point: http://lawhawk.blogspot.com/2008...-
democrats.html
What these people are proposing is a clean burning energy plant for their community - and that fuckwad Richardson says no.
Indians get special consideration and he says no.
I want all these bastards out of power and I want them banned from ever being able to screw with another Americans life forever!
