Actually, I'm more interested in the stunning silence coming out of Syria for the bitchslap Israel laid on them early in the month. The only thing I've heard is Abbas wants to start a war with Israel, have the UN end it in a couple of days so he can get the Golan Heights from them.
I've been listening to the radio on this this evening and the Great One is saying that Syria had just gotten a bunch of Russian toys that "should've" seen the attack coming - which by the way, was DEEP into Syrian territory. They were totally BLIND to the attack - didn't see it coming at all! Which means they are naked to attacks - NICE!
These are the same toys Iran has, which means they are nakie too! Which is also why all the threats have been coming from them lately.

Did you hear the report from the Indian General assigned to liase witht the Iranina Military. Apparently, Iran is obsessed with the United States attacking it and is in a full flegded panic after the Israeli airstrike in Syria on Sept 6th. It seem Syria has been spending an awful lot of money lately buys Russian anti-air defenses, some are reportedly so new that they have been deployed in Syria before being deployed to the Russian military. Currently, per square mile, Syria has the thickest anti-air defense network in the world comprise of fairly modern Russian technology. It should be one of the deadliest places on earth for enemy pilots. Iran has a similar system.
On Sept 6, 2007, a strike package consisting of Israeli F-15 Eagles and F-16 Falcons anihilated a target deep within Syrian airspace and very far from Israeli territory. The strike group were so effective in rendering the Syrian air defense network blind and inoperable that Syria was not even sure it had been blinded and disabled. Not a single weapon got off at the Israeli aircraft. The hundreds of millions of dollars that they had spent building this deadly air defense system was a miserable failure and waste of money. Even with the most moder Russian technology, they were defenseless and unable to stop this Israeli raid.
Israel successfully destroyed a facility the claim to have contained nuclear material from North Korea and weapons systems from Iran. Syria has been unusually silent about what was hit in the raid, lending credence to Israels claims.
The reason this scared the hell out of Iran is because they have the same style air defense system as Syria did and they just witnessed how powerless it would be against an American strike group. The are apparently shaking in thier boots in the Iraning military. Too bad their leader does not kno when to quit.

bombing Iran's nucelar facilities will accomplish one thing: stop the possibility of iran enriching their own uranium to possibly give to some sort of terrorist organization. they will still be able to interfere in Iraq. they still have 600 non nuclear missiles trained on israel if they are attacked.
other than scratching the persian itch, we will not in the moments or weeks after such an attack, really be any safer in practical terms.

New pew (sp) pole states that the US has a lower attititude towards muslims and islam than we did two years ago. LA Slimes attributes this to US ignorance of islam. My take on it is that the US has learned alot about islam in the last two years and has decided that islam needs to go.

witness- not me. people who are rightly pissed. every action has an equal and opposite reaction. this whole thing is us normal people trying to stop our respective religious fanatics from bringing on the apocolpyse. you want it, we don't.
I don't think there's anything you or I or anybody else can do to stop it.
If that is the case, I need to stop caring about how islam will destroy the world - because for the apocalypse to happen, we (Christians) have to be loosing and loosing badly.

Some may want it - we're supposed to hope for it. While I know it's going to happen anyway, I just get sad at the thought of the lost souls. No second chance - game over!
Before that happens though a (one)prophasy still needs to happen. Isreal will be on the verge of being wiped out - they will know it and will know their weapons and technology won't help them. They have a reawakening and God saves them. And the whole world will see that God saved them and they (the world) will know that it was God that saved them.
If we see that happen, game is almost over.
